This is not cool, I wish there was some stronger push back against it all, I got really concerned about the being able to look in your mail stuff.

All the other wars that have been fought with people above the 49th parallel have ended with the people who would become Canadians getting wasted and burning down the White House.

I decided I was going to sail the high C’s for all the streaming shows and use the TV apps with my pihole (ad blocker) for the series on CTV and Global that I am already following. I am more than willing to turn off my pihole for Canadian shows on those channels for distinctly CanCon but with the buy Canadian stuff that happened after Trump did his thing I cancelled all my streaming services and started paying for CBC Gem I just wish they made more shows that lasted the whole season.

Not unless they get another Jack Layton type person, then maybe if they become the opposition or maybe the official government.

Then we have Scott Moe saying 90% of wild fires are caused by people, he gives no explanation of how he came to that number just that he did.

In Saskatchewan we have the biggest reserves of potash, luckily we have the ability to process it here. So not shipping unprocessed potash is a good thing. In Saskatchewan we also have massive reserves of Uranium but no way of processing it here so we are shipping unprocessed uranium out of the province so that a minuscule some of it can come back while the majority is sold elsewhere. In Saskatchewan we need to be able to process it and use it here if we want to do are part in fighting climate change. Sure growing the crops we grow takes CO2 out of the air but that is only during the growing months.

I am so sorry buddy but going down to the states may, yes cost less this year however it may also get you a life time holiday in El Salvador. I know the risk is low but it is not 0.

As a Canadian in 2025, I have cancelled almost all of my US web services including streaming services. Apple still has there hands in my pocket for some 50G icloud stuff, I have been trying to offload all of my stuff but it takes time.

I have turned to a pirates life for some things other things I just use my pihole to block ads I would love it if I could setup a system on my LAN that I could have ad free streaming music on. I also wish youtube had a Canadian or a not US competitor that came close to the same things.

We all need to stand behind the CRTC and cancel the US streaming services.

Even more amusing would be the greens winning the seat, but I do not think we live in that time line.

I only know the name Conrad Black I had no idea of his political leanings so I started reading the article, and I thought that this must be some form of satire, just slowly getting to the punch line. I continued reading and thought it was taking to long to make it a joke.
