The White House reportedly asked Graham to insert waivers into the bill allowing Trump to choose which entities get sanctioned and changing the word “shall” to “may.” Removing the mandatory language from the text would essentially defang the bill, staffers said.

This isn't a request to change the bill, it's a request to completely make the bill irrelevant.

I guess we know what they were waiting for to bring him back - looking for some reason they could claim he broke a law so they could retroactively be right.

Every individual word is true, that is the dystopian reality we live in, but even when true they're depending on it sounding too conspiratorial and therefore not credible. The nerve of these people.

I suppose my post came off demeaning, but whether you're homeless and excluded from access to basic human necessities, or a white collar office worker who is having a very bad digestive moment, there are defensible reasons why this may happen. That said, where there's a choice: I think pooping in the unpopulated far corner of the subway platform is preferable if at all possible. That's just like, my opinion, man.

You're christened a real New Yorker when you see a guy urinating or defecating in a subway car, hopefully facing a set of doors "for privacy."
