Yeah, KDE is just better in so many ways. When gnome launched kde was built on a not-fully-open-source library, but then they fully open sourced QT, and that was decades ago so now there is no excuse!

Some cops may join for good reasons, but the institution as a whole is so corrupt and full of "one bad apple"s, coupled with them necessarily dealing with the worst in society and also non-cops that they soon fall prey to the environment and become awful themselves.

I'll explain for you in case you're not trolling. We must All Cops Are Bastards because enough of them are and there is little enough oversight that when some of them do something wrong they get away with it far too often. It is therefore self defence to never trust a cop because they can fuck your life up six ways to Sunday and suffer no repercussions of note. ACAB does not mean there are no good cops, it means we must assume any given cop is a bad cop because one false negative has the potential to go so far wrong.

FTFY. For profit companies are not a good way to drive quality and innovation long term anywhere. It works short term as small start ups try to be better than the market leaders to get a market share, but then they become a market leader and the best way to make profits is no longer to innovate. Capitalists will tell you that in an ideal world capitalism would drive other small companies to innovate to become market leaders and thus improve things but because of the disproportionate power capital gives in a capitalist system, the market leaders can squash all but the best new innovators, leading to an overall reduction in innovation or worse a reduction in quality because it;s no longer needed to drive profits
