  • That's not true, because the Constitution applies to the whole place. Americans and non-citizens freely exercise those rights in those areas daily.

If any agent of the government tells you otherwise, you must educate them and enforce the free exercise of your own rights.

  • Maybe so but it doesn't sound like he punched that Nazi bitch in the face, which he should have done. People should not generally be comfortable insulting someone to their face like that. Fighting Words are a legal defense for assault and battery FYI.

  • It's not all a story of failure, because there are numerous rural areas that have fiber now that did not before those programs. Some states have added on programs that boost the fiber adoption, like letting local phone and power companies roll out fiber on utility poles along the power lines. For example, I'm in a rural area and have 2 good options for fiber for about $50/mo with higher tier plans available.

  • I've seen this same argument spouted over and over online. People like you apparently think that there are enough drones, drone operators, and assorted missiles to target every person who could dare resist. It shows a general misunderstanding of the concept of drones and their usage. Also if the US Military began launching missiles at protest groups then shit would be way beyond hitting the fan, that would be overt war on our own country.

Each drone mission requires quite a bit of careful planning and skilled operators. The USA had somewhere in the neighborhood of 11k drones held by the military as of 2023 reports. A large portion of those are likely deployed abroad, along with their pilots.

Basically the situation seems to be quite different in reality than the spooky idea that magical drones can instantly show up anywhere to kill anyone.
