Why do people think you're supposed to wear that all day long? I don't think it was ever marketed as a permanent piece of headwear.

I've always assumed that every VR or AR system was intended to be used for a session and taken off, seems obvious.

VR is totally "there" for those who want to use it, and it does take a little more effort than plopping into a chair and clicking a mouse. But that's life - you get more out of things you put more effort into.

No idea why you would think it's hard to buy MP3s. I've never had a problem buying any, just go to the big name FAANG companies' music store webpages or Bandcamp for FLACs. No DRM on any that I bought.

SteamVR on PC is excellent FYI. Lots of great VR games on Steam

The hard part for everyone is manifesting the willpower to resist hunger. Often it takes a life-threatening health scare to manifest that willpower for people, and then they diet and lose weight to avoid dying.

Yep that's one of my pet peeves about the Internet. People love to try to put words in your mouth. It gets a bit tiring having to tell every one of those jabronis that I never said any of those words, and they should re-read what I did actually write instead.

It would still be hard to build an EMP proof chassis that completely surrounded it though. A Faraday cage needs a connection to ground wiring to work properly for example.

Poor people just need to cobble together EMP weapons if there are robot oppressors. Robots couldn't be wirelessly controlled or have any wireless antennas without being EMP vulnerable.

Personally I'm boycotting any business with visible Trump support, and I make it a point to tell their staff that I won't be back and the reason why. Last time I had to do this I told them their Trump shit was fucking disgusting and I would never be back.
