  • Neverwinter Nights or Bladur's gate 1 would be great if it's still available thank you

  • Do I have terminal internet brain-itus when I knew it's pee from the first panel?

  • brb buying a ticket to SK

  • Some unsolicited advice from a former too shy to dance person, who somehow also manage to get my too shy to dance partner dancing, the key for me is knowing that I'll look like an idiot.

I haven't really done any classes. My SO's favourite "move" of mine is me absolutely making a fool of myself involving me stiffly bobbing my whole body to the beat kind of like a pogo stick. Once you've accepted that you're corny and you are born on the cob you just gotta move to the beat. You taking dance lessons already make you a better dancer than 90% of us out there.

  • Top 10 things that came from reddit

  • Aw if they're size of brine shimps I would love to keep them

  • The squid bois from Arrival are cool

  • Damn chocolate milk actually sounds good rn

  • I've played it for like a year or so, racking up around 1k hrs during that time. For me the best part, as you might expect from an MMO, is the people I've meet during that time. And this is coming from a pretty introverted person.

Our corporation (guild) at the time was a small tight knit group of about a dozen trying to build and live in wormhole space. For game mechanics reasons I won't get in to rn this required relative close communication between all members and even I, a newbie, contributed to the survival of our group. Due to timezone differences, and many persistent timers for in game things that kept ticking even while you're not logged in, we also kept frequent communications out the game which really added to the experience.

This is just one play style out of many in the game. Though most play styles involve you being part of a larger operation to help advance your alliance's goals. As a common saying in EvE, the best ship in the game is friendship.

Also at the time the developers were very good at player engagements. They had an in-house band that would release game related music, and had weekly (iirc) in-universe news about the changes to the game universe.

The intricacy of the game mechanics kind of ensure a similar-ish kind of people would keep playing the game I feel. All in all the sense of community was very strong.I understand it's not a game for everyone but I've had a great time.

  • Aw man I wish I could've hung out with animals when I worked cash

  • Ok, Elon can have the account. The rest of the stuff goes to The Onion. lol

  • I used to intern at a wildlife sanctuary and I used to stick baby raccoons on me like velcro and walk around while I clean their enclosures and stuff.

  • You went above and beyond!

  • I looked up the coordinates and it's south of Neubrandonburg, Germany. The words on the map seems to be Polish? What a journey it must've had for a Polish map on Germany ended up as a German envelope.

  • It might be a vaguely generational thing as in people's preference being influenced by when they hopped on board. How the website looked when they first started shapes their preference kind of thing. I started using reddit over a decade ago and vastly preferred the old layout for the same reason Foni hated it. I hated the new layout precisely because I don't want to see all the contents all the time and I want to filter it by reading the titles first. IIRC most users who come on to reddit after new is the default preferred that over the old and the percentage of people who uses old kept shrinking over time. Now that I'm on mbin I've configured it to be like old reddit as well (not that it took that much effort).

  • Ravenfield for cartoony/low poly acradey fun

Operation Harsh Doorstop for something more like Project Reality
