Just to be devils advocate, while a law like this doesn't seem bad, yay social programs, doesn't it sort of set up more precedent that a child is a child at conception? In turn making it harder to argue for abortion rights based on other existing laws like this one.

Complains about strong bias here like it isn't just as bad or worse on reddit.

You completely twisted what I said. Who is mad at voters? Who said I didn't want a better candidate. All I said was don't fall for the same trap as last time.

I know lots of dems are mad at Biden, but it's like they forgot what happened two elections ago. People were mad that Hilary was forced down their throats and didn't like her as a candidate. They didn't vote for her out of protest and look what happened. I've been hearing more and more the same kind of talk this election cycle. No one likes being forced to vote for a candidate, and they should certainly have a better campaign than, "Well look at the alternative," but not voting for Biden is basically voting for Trump. Primaries are absolutely the time to make a protest vote, but let's not fall for this nonsense again. Biden is not handling the Palestine/Isreal problem well but the alternative would be even worse.

I actually put in a full effort into what I do. My previous manager would find something wrong with anything I did even if i did it exactly like they said. Why bother doing high quality work when your boss is a miserable person and will just make up shit about how it's bad or wrong anyway.

Dang. I've heard of the Sunday sads, but scaries is a whole different level.

Damn. I've posted long enough to become the very thing I hate. But like I've replied to a few other people it's not the length of the trend itself but how the quality of posts in the trend degrade over time.

I can agree with that point. People might be late to the joke, or enjoy it for a longer time. But the quality of posts is also important, and I think that's the where the difference comes in. Someone takes the time to think of a good pun, or a high quality photo shop, I can appreciate that even if I don't fine the joke funny anymore. When the post is jeans jeans and it's a drawing done in 5 seconds in paint of 2 pairs of poorly draw jeans it's not funny and just upvote farming, whether you just discovered the joke or not. That's my take anyway, I know we won't all agree.

Right. I wasn't trying to say that this isn't setting precedent that will help for later rulings. Let's just not count our chickens before they hatch. Some people are acting like Trump is already down electoral votes because of this, which he isn't. That's the only point I was trying to make l.
