I think they're expecting an influx of dropping out to enter the wage slave market work force. So for them, it's hitting a triple - less expenses to education, a less educated populace, and a locked-in-for-life service industry workforce.

I'm not going to do myself as I've taken pains to remain anonymous after being doxxed and harassed on that other shit platform. Suffice it to say that I don't live in one of the most affluent school districts in Michigan (ahem; Rockford and what other ISD's around GR?). I live among the poorest.

I am a (recently) former school board member of my district in MI and personally reviewed the compensation packages for our staff.

While I agree with the assessment of zero tolerance policies, there isn't a soul in our entire school district that is making 6 figures. Most of the faculty in our district are barely scraping by because the voters believe this collective delusion that schools have more money than god and are full of wasteful spending. That is a lie promulgated by conservatives to defund schools.

For what it's worth, my congress cretin is loving polishing trump's asshole and ceding away congressional oversight to the executive branch. At a town hall lady week, he said that the DOGE department was always DOGE, they just changed the acronym (wat?!) and it was always under the executive branch, not an independent federal agency.

I've encountered a few sites that restricted repeating or sequential characters. Of course told after failing the first creation attempt. Makes things like randomly generated passphrases fun to figure out. Particularly when their idea of "sequential" involves both in alpha/numerical order, but also adjacent spacing on the (assumed?) qwerty keyboard!
