See that's my issue with degrees C. It's not as fine a measurement as degrees F. A difference of 5F is not terribly much, but it is noticeable. A difference of 5C is substantial (to me) and would make me very uncomfortable. So with F, I can know with more precision how uncomfortable I should expect to be :)
I think their thinking (and calling it that is a stretch) is that by educating on the past and present injustices and therefore showing the fallibility of the white christian class, it somehow elevates other populations above them. Look, it's not what bs viral video the algorithm is feeding these people. It's the spyware it's putting on the phones. It has been proven that the app harvests all the data it can find and phones it home. Backdoor root-level access has also been proven. If you can't figure out why that would be bad, you probably have problems pouring water out of a boot with instructions on the heel.

Look into the research that has proven that the app has backdoors baked in, and combine that with how widespread it is - reaching every level of society; every industry, politician, branch and level of the military. Now remember that research into the Spyware activities of the app.

I may be waaaay off here, but the internet as it exists is pretty much built on DNS, isn't it? I mean, the whole idea of DARPANet back in the 60s and 70s was to build a robust, redundant, and self-healing network to survive nuclear armageddon, and except when humans f it up (intentional or otherwise), it generally does what it says on the tin.
Now, there's arguments to beade about securing the protocol, but to rip and replace the routing protocols, I think you'd have to call it something other than the Internet.

And, as another poster reiterated, this is surplus equipment That's being given away. Thankfully, it's not going to some podunk police department so they can sit on their ass while a school gets shot up (see: Uvalde, TX) or used as urban assault vehicles against civil rights protesters (see: protests all over the country). Furthermore, while exporting weapons of war may have moral qualms in some cases, maintaining strong allies against aggressors is of benefit to the entire alliance, and puts our factories (and the workers in those factories and industries) to work, earning money to shelter, feed, and clothe their families.
