  • Hahaha that’s an adorable image, but we’re on the computer! My partner sits in the bed and I sit in my office chair next to the bed. I have my computer screen mirrored to a really big monitor for them to see. I click on things, and they do the brain-thinking.

We would cuddle while doing this, but we get REALLY into the voice acting, so we really gotta belt it out. We each have a solid set of unique voices for each character!

I don’t wanna get into spoiler territory just in case, but it’s fun that they are Maya and I’m Mia… I didn’t think that would come so heavily into play!

  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney! My partner and I each voice act half the characters. It’s been a HOOT! I think I’m at the end of the first game.

I recently got New Leaf installed on my hacked N3DSXL. I loved New Horizons but it got a bit stale. The villagers were all kinda samey and didn’t have much dialogue. New Leaf insofar feels like it has much more soul. But we’re only 30 hours in or so, so we’ll see!

  • Ugh I wishhhhh! No good public transport near here. Park and ride would take me as much time to park as it would to just drive to work when I have to go in. Plus half the time it’s below freezing here (I don’t handle cold well) and almost a quarter of the time it’s above 80°F. I wish things were closer together… and I wish the temp was more … temperate.

  • Ooooo yes I would love that. Bookmarked for next time I work. I skipped around and as a lover of EDM, trance, HHC, Dn’B, and all stuff like that, I think what you okay is right up my alley.

  • Oh it’s insane. I work for a nonprofit, doing basic database management. My manager is… interesting. It’s a small team. Two of my coworkers are good, they do about as much as I do. Two coworkers do nothing at all.

Like legit, we can quantify the work we do. I’ll do 30-50 work per day, staying in bed for seven hours. The two bad coworkers will, even working in the office, do 8-12 work per day.

Our manager has started to cover doing work for those two. Our manager does 20-30 work per day.

It’s a fucking bonkers job. But on the weeks I’m at comes it’s AWESOME. Being in the office is shit, and the two bad coworkers make it worse. I have a group chat with the people who do good work and we lament about the bad workers. It’s kinda toxic, I guess. But at least I get to chill a lot and the pay isn’t bad.

  • Ooo I’d love a bigger one. I think mine is 21” or so. I miss the 27” I had growing up! But this one is a flat CRT, had component and S-Video cables, and has a DVD player built in so I can watch my DVD of Not4Sale: TV Sheriff and the Trailbuddies. So I’m not complaining.

  • Holy shit, it’s been forever since I’ve seen this and… that’s me now. When I don’t work from home, that’s exactly what I do. My office has a little room for privacy, so I’ll just go lay in there randomly for a while. I take 15-20 minute shits multiple times a day. I listen to podcasts all day, or watch videos. When I work from home, I’m usually in bed chilling for 7+ hours a day.

I do between “the most work of all of my coworkers in a day” and “as much as everyone else combined” and it’s completely fucking bonkers. I haven’t had a day in months where I didn’t do the most stuff out of anyone.

  • Ooo pleeease check out Less is Orchestra, it’s seriously amazing. I’ve had multiple friends ask who it was when in my car, even friends who don’t like that kinda music. I think it’s in my top five albums of all time right now.

  • Yusssss! I’m going through Psychonauts right now as well, LOVE the game! I don’t have a place for my CRT TV right now, so I’m on a computer for that one.

I REALLY wanna bust out my CRT and PS2 and Afterhurner and play some DDR Extreme sooooo badly

  • You have great taste! I saw him during a Subtle tour back in the day.

If you haven’t heard his album with Alias, Less is Orchestra, it’s one of my favorite albums of all time. I could not recommend it more.
