  • I love this as an idea to try and get quiet PCs to possibly interact more.

Maybe have the party dip into an open door while they’re running from a threat or while trying to sneakily navigate the town.

  • I hadn’t even thought of this as something that could generate donations, but that it would be just for fun. Very interesting idea.

Maybe there’s some opportunity to make something like this into a celebration kind of like AGDQ where people can donate and then donations get sent out to instances or something. (I don’t know, I’m not clever about that kind of stuff.)

  • Yeah, I feel challenged by your comment and want to be someone who posts more often. I enjoy commenting and having discussions, but OC hasn’t been my forte. The Fediverse seems like a much less caustic place than Reddit.

  • I think you make a good point.

I’m don’t post very often, so it’s hard for me to put myself into the shoes of someone who does post good comments frequently. I admire those people, but maybe that’s not the point. Maybe the point is to enjoy their work and try to meet it with posts of my own.

  • Maybe I just don’t comprehend the catastrophic effects

    I recommend the movie “Threads”.

While 9/11 was a horrific event, a nuke would consign innocent people to a horrific and delayed end.

  • All it takes is the right set of conditions and the right stimuli.

I agree with this completely. It was like the Milgrim experiment where all of a sudden you’d wake up and realize you and the people around you are completely different than you thought. Luckily the spell did break.

Cynical af now, but I try to redeem the past by not contributing to or permitting those environments anymore.

I appreciate the well-wishes, though. Getting better all the time 👍
