  • Nope. Completely missing the point here.

This comment isn't criticizing women's dating preferences, it's criticizing the criticism on women's dating preferences.

People blame women for not dating moderate to conservative men, hurting their egos, and further funnelling them into the alt right pipeline.

People blame women for dating conservative men which affirms their political views.

It doesn't matter if women date conservatives men or not, someone will find a way to point fingers.

  • Nope. You've got it the other way around. I'm blaming people for criticizing women's dating preferences no matter if they date conservatives or not.

People blame women for refusing to date moderate to conservative men, hurting their egos, and funnelling them further into the alt-right pipeline.

People blame women for dating conservative men and affirming their conservative views.

It doesn't matter what political preferences women have, there is just no winning here.

  • Many young men who can't find a partner are getting radicalized by the manosphere.

Women are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Edit: this is calling out how women are criticized for both dating and not dating conservative men. Leave to to Lemmy's male echo chamber to explain how this is not the case.

  • This says more about how women are socially pressured to wear make up, dress well, wax, and de-age themselves or risk being labeled as 'unwomanly' or become irrelevant.

How many men do you know feel pressured to put the same effort into their appearances as the average woman does?

And don't tell me how working out counts. One, there are zero health benefits to putting on make up. Two, women are incessantly reminded about losing weight rather than just be healthy whether it's from the media, advertisements, or just people using 'fat' as an insult especially for middle aged women.

How often do you hear old women being complimented on their appearances compared to old men? Forget about appearances, how often are they relevant in conversations? Invisible Woman Syndrome is almost like a super power.

  • You all need to stop indulging in self righteous hate for licensed animal breeders. I get it, but your anger is misplaced.

Think about it for a second. If you banned licensed animal breeding, do you really think people will stop buying and producing pure bred animals?

If you think things are bad now, you should look at what animal breeding looks like before it was regulated. Banning it outright will only create a black market who's only incentive is to bred for grotesque traits with even less regard for animal welfare.

The majority of modern licensed breeders are working to undo decades of fucked up animal breeding by reintroducing healthy traits while preserving marketable ones. Not to mention breeders are necessary for producing dogs who can be trained as guide dogs and medical alert dogs.

The problem lies with people who shop and don't adopt. Don't blame licensed breeders for trying to temper the grotesque demands of animal shoppers. Whether or not you ban it, animal breeding will continue and it's only a matter of how much more animal abuse is involved.

Processed meat refers to meat that has been transformed through salting, curing, fermentation, smoking, or other processes to enhance flavour or improve preservation. Most processed meats contain pork or beef, but processed meats may also contain other red meats, poultry, offal, or meat by-products such as blood.

Before anyone asks, no, 'salt' doesn't refer to sodium chloride in this context but rather curing salt or sodium nitrite.

'Unprocessed ham' is just a consumer term for 'uncured ham', which ironically is still cured, just with sodium chloride and not sodium nitrite. But sure let's pretend every 'Ma'am' asking for nitrite-free ham is just a homeopathic dunce asking for the non-existent.

  • I know it's not deliberate, but phrases like 'spineless pussies' are why women don't feel welcome on lemmy.

Is lemmy truly a left-leaning platform? Or is it yet another tech-bro circlejerk that cares more about the aesthetics of inclusivity? You all can't have your cake and it eat it too.
