  • Umm...I hate to be the one to break it to you: see, there is this country called Ukraine. Small place. Next to Poland. Also next to Russia. Ukraine and Russia are currently, how should I put it...they are having a MASSIVE FUCKING WAR rn. So their neighbors are preparing for the inevitability it will spill over into Europe and Middle East.

  • Agreed. I think both should die on Reddit. And, please, do it privately with another consenting adult. The "talking out of your ass about stuff you shouldn't be talking about" stuff. And the butt stuff, too. But mostly the former.

  • This has been repeated in case studies around the world since then but the Nuremberg Trials were the first public use of "But of course the other officers at Auschwitz were terrible people but I am not a terrible person!" The psychology would be interesting if it weren't so frikkin horrific. But I suspect SBF isn't that so much as a complete and total narcissist and sociopath.

  • But is that fair? Shouldn't prisons be places you can have all of the amenities you enjoyed in life before you broke the law? What are our taxes being spent on if not fiber internet and Netflix in every cell? Signed, SBFaltaccountNERDSlol

  • You don't wash your meat after you grill it? I quite enjoy lavender dish soap because it adds a certain nuance to the meat. Sadly I always seem to have digestion issues. It must be the meat. I will have to go to a better butcher shop.

  • Correct. Not people. They are literally nothing. They don't deserve retirement, voting rights, or the legal right to work. When I see them 65ers, don't say that outloud because some sensitive people get really upset, when I see them 65ers, I pretend they aren't there.

  • We could try to vote people who will take action OR incentivize consumers to be more proactive BUT. Neither is ever going to happen.

I was having dinner with my brother's family and we were watching an interview with some celebrity that my sister-in-law adores. Dude is heavy in green activism and lists fast food places which are bad actors for climate and also farmers rights, etc. So my SiL announces we are never eating at such and such place again (I can't remember, I never eat fast food anyway). The very next night they order takeout from said fast food place. They also always order same day deliver from Amazon despite it never actually arriving same day, but they get packages every damn day. Tons and tons of packaging for crap they always throw out or give away to neighbors eventually. This isn't unique to them.

This is MOST of America and I suspect the rest of the developed world. We are effed.
