  • Important story moments of your life play as cutscenes which you have no control over…so you can’t mess it up and know you’re exactly where you should be. This would be peaceful.

This would be great, but imagine being in a cutscene and realizing you're the antagonist and that you're going to be killed by some brat with a sword.

  • We have the ability to end homelessness, at least in more developed countries, but the people in charge would rather send the homeless to prison for daring to find a place to sleep. At least in the US, I don't know how other places handle the homeless.

  • IDK, MS really went all the way with backwards compatibility. They literally built emulators for the 360 and OG Xbox in order to let people play old games using old disks they already owned.

I'd be shocked if they didn't stay committed to this.

  • I really wish sites with those stupid restricted complexity requirements would just say what they are on the login screen.

"We only allow '&#@!()' because we don't understand password security, you're welcome."

  • Advocate for the 32 hour work week with no drop in pay. Join unions, create unions, call your representatives (and I know most of them are shit).

Convince your peers to advocate for 32 hours as well. There's no reason why most jobs couldn't do that. You'd be astounded at the amount of time wasting that goes on in the defense industry work I do.

  • Watch Poor Things if you want risk taking and creativity. It was weird in the best of ways, imo.

The Lighthouse, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Infinity Pool, Beau is Afraid, the animated Spiderverse Movies, Jordan Peele's movies, Talk to Me, and definitely more I haven't seen.

There's risk taking and creativity, but they're much harder to find because they don't get the advertising budget of the standard boring action-adventure bull crap.

  • They're all just reactionary. They see a headline that says "algae farms being used to fight climate change" and think "dumb liberals using algae to do what algae does and thinking it's going to save the planet." That's as far as they go with their analysis.

Or they see headlines about DEI programs and think "that's actually racist against white people by giving minorities an advantage" without considering the underlying problems of inherent minority disadvantage in the numerous interconnected socioeconomic systems.

Conservatives are reactionary, not smart enough to be analytical, and unwilling to learn. Problems are literally too complicated for them to understand.

  • So you realize that many of the people actually performing these scams are slaves and trafficked people, then still send them that image?

Did you even watch all of Oliver's special?

  • The big brain move is going to reset your password, getting told you can't use your current password when you type in a "new" one, then going back to the login screen to log in.
