  • Then you clearly have not understood the argument.

Btw even the CIA stated that the idea of Stalin being some megalomaniac dictator is nonsense. Turns out your entire premise is based on you not getting the topic in the first place.

  • The "Holo"domor is a fascist myth. Hence why most countries do not recognize it. The Aral sea destruction happened mostly after the end of the USSR...

Meanwhile fascists did the Holocaust, which did happen and the genocidal roadshow that was WW2 followed by the genocidal roadshow that is the USA.

  • The deal was that Russia would allow Ukranian grain shipments through the Black Sea. In return Russia would be able to export its grain and fertilizer as before the war. The latter meant that transactions for grain and fertilizer would have to be excluded from the sanctions on russian use of SWIFT. In short the deal would have been that both countries would be allowed to export their agrarian products without foreign sanctions. Like before the war.

Russia kept its part of the deal, Ukraine could export its grain unhindered by the russian fleet. However, Russia never received what it was promised in return by western guaranteurs (ukraines backers who cut Russia off of SWIFT). This lead to situations where russia had shipped fertilizer to the recepient country, but the monetary transaction was impossible to conlude, because Russia was still barred from SWIFT while the recepient country had not yet acess to the russian version of SWIFT. Money could not move from one account to the other, so to say.

The fertilizer thus sat in the harbor, doing nothing. In these cases, Russia turned said fertilizer into a gift to the recepient country, thus no money having to change accounts and the western sanctions backfiring with the west losing diplomatic capital, while Russia gained some. People tend to like gifts and do not like being threatened with starvation.

  • To be happy to have its agricultural exports sanctioned, despite the grain deal stating that these sanctions had to go the way of the Dodo. Russia mainly exports its grain and fertilizer to the third world.

This lead to the effect that already delivered fertilizer could not be paid as Russia is cut off from SWIFT and the receiving party is not yet part of the Russian clearing system. The shitshow ended with Russia just gifting the stuff in many cases.

Showing again how great the west is at making friends.

  • Poland invaded the former Russian Empire during the russian civil war. It annexed large areas.

The USSR tried to revive the Entente for years, but was rebuffed by France, GB and the US. Partially because local fascists, partially because these nations had no real interest in a new entente, partially because Poland lobbied against the USSR.

Then the Munich conference happened. Previously the USSR was the only nation willing to military support Czechslovakia, but was denied military access by other countries to get there. Czechslovakia ceased to exist and was carved up by its neighbours.

This made it clear to the USSR that their dream of a new Entente had ended and the western capitalist nations wanted to direct germany eastwards against them. So they did two things:

    1. Sign a non-agression-treaty with germany. As the last european state to do so. This lead Germany to move west first.
    2. Offer Poland a defensive treaty. Poland denied, because of anti-soviet tendency and pro-german one.

So when Germany invaded Poland, the USSR did fuck all for two weeks. Then, after the polish government had left for exile, they moved to the territories Poland had annexed previously and occupied them. The Polish governments last order before exile were not to resist the Red Army.

  • Weird, I can not remember that shit, or you for that matter, caring when the USA did the exact same thing. Back then Russia stated that this would set a dangerous precent, and here we are.

What's your alternative to even greater slaughter? Send in the next wave, so you can feel self rightious?
