Cheating is complicated. Yeah some people just will, they are fooling themselves when they say they won't. Some people find it sexy, they literally want to cheat, they think it's hot. Others will if the situation gets extreme, people in dead bedroom situations who want to keep their family together and make the calculation (or miscalculation) that cheating is less damaging than divorcing. I worked with old people when I was younger, my bosses were old Spanish people who married for business reasons but had lovers, they did not love each other in a romantic way.
I'd say that as divorce becomes easier to get, marriage more based on love rather than alliance and monogamy less required, there is probably less cheating. But it won't ever be zero.
If you are asking is cheating universal? No. It's not.
I grew up with the kids of the original set of Cuban refugees and thought it was because they were the rich people fleeing Castro. So they were already aligned with the right here,they like the idea of being on the upper side of a class divide.
The newer ones may just be anti -abortion, there are a lot of those "single issue voters" everywhere not just here.
I am a parent of adults and really just want them to meet their own standards for themselves. My mom was the same. Sure I'd like grandkids, but not to the point I would ask! Their lives are for them to live.
If you are asking about little kids, it's because they are exhausting. We went out to get tacos and there was the cutest little boy running around yelling "va! va!". How delightful for us but I'm sure his mom was tired of it, it was 8pm. I am sure she would be happy if he would just sit down and eat now.
Not if you already know how to drive, no. My kid who was motivated to use my car learned easily, and I learned it in a day when the rest of the people I was with were too drunk to drive.
But learning to drive in a new country? And manual at the same time? That seems more difficult. Can you practice here first? Does anyone you know drive stick?

Sloth, I guess - I'm physically active, but so lazy in some ways, wake up when I wake up, want people to come to my house, I don't want to go to theirs, want to live close to everything so I don't have to travel, don't work as hard as I could at work, don't try to move up.

I can read a map (and hate letting the car navigate) but map has to be aligned with the world. Before the cell phone, I used to spread the map out on the ground, with north pointing north.

I did sew costumes for my kids for Halloween, stuff that doesn't have to last, but get what she was saying.
I do, however, cook much better than she did and am not sorry, still like going out to eat. And can make cocktails better than most I'd get at a bar but still find joy in going out for a drink. I think she was right about clothes though, they aren't an experience like going out to dinner.
I will take being an adult with responsibility over being a child any day. All I remember is ennui and a trapped feeling. School sucked so bad, and no control over your own life. I want to know what sort of idyllic childhood the people who write this stuff had? I wasn't abused or anything, it just sucks being a kid.

My kids love chili, with or without meat. Especially if it has hominy or corn. And are crazy about "mushroom sauce" for pasta, saute a truly astonishing amount of mushrooms then pour bottled spaghetti sauce over. Like they want more mushrooms than pasta just about.
I cook most of our meals. My kids would eat ma po tofu every day I think. Husband asks for pierogi and sausage and sauerkraut all the time. Youngest would eat homemade macaroni and cheese probably every day. Yellow rice and chicken with black beans is always well received, as are bean and cheese simple burritos.
If there's one thing I've learned living in Florida, this crime pays. I was in the break room at my old job and one of our IT people was on the phone with her sister, looked at me, covered the speaker and said "she works for Wellcare, the feds just rushed in and yelled "hands up, move away from the computers! Get out!" But kept her sister and another guy there to pull all the information out.
But a few years later, who is our governor? Fucking Rick Scott, who, as head of another healthcare company defrauded the government just as dramatically. They all do. And the foxes are guarding the henhouse.
