  • Amending the constitution to grant rights to nature is compelling and logical from multiple perspectives, including economic ones. Nature should be regarded as essential infrastructure, the foundation upon which all other facets of society depend.

It would be a fitting testament to the challenges we face.

  • "Track and graph" FOSS from Fdroid may get you part of the way. It doesn't do everything that you want, but maybe will help. Good luck on your journey.

  • I had forgotten about their failure to codify that into law, but in the same breath, I doubt the situation was so simple. That said, I may be cynical enough default to your viewpoint.

Self intrest is a powerful motivation for anyone, let alone a politician.

Anyway, thank you for reminding me!

  • I never thought of it that way but your reasoning is not unsound. Hahahaha.

  • I like pineapple because when you eat it, it eats you; the bromelin starts "digesting" your mouth as soon as you dig in.

So fun. Also nothing else is more delicious than fresh sliced pineapple.

  • So it's Soylent pink! I bet that's delicious if you put it in the smoker.

  • Yes. They thought they could keep skimming. The problem is that their (and everyones, really) business model is predicated on YOY growth and when it doesn't happen, they fire people to try and recapture funds.

  • Fair enough. Apologies. I didn't read it and should not have commented. I'm just tired.

Both Israel and Hamas are terrorists. Both dedicated to genocide.

Israel just has a higher body count.

  • Yes. People are unable to handle nuance. They clearly don't see the difference.

  • I s'pose genocide has an effect on reputation.

Edit: Apologies. I didn't read it and should not have commented.

The trend starts before the attack on Israel.

  • It's not fun to be the enemy of a nation state. Stopping was probably the smart choice.

  • Wait for the next update cycle. Lol. I've tracked these kinds of things down in the past. It's tough. Look into procmon and taskmon if it bugs you again, and godspeed my friend.

  • Honestly it can be really tricky to keep that crap from popping up and if the guy that wrote the install did it all dirty and didn't hide his windows, calling a boatload of processes, it can be truly difficult for the guy that writes the updater to keep everything hidden.

    I've been there.

  • Most likely an app updater written by someone who is too lazy to make their updater hidden.

As others suggested, look in task scheduler, but make sure you run it elevated. Focus on any updater that's calling an app from a bat file, and move out from there.

  • I love that. Thanks!

  • I'm saving this text for later. I may need it. Thanks.

  • I can't bring myself to watch that bullshit either.

    GPT summary of transcript:

NATO Expansion: Putin criticizes NATO's eastward expansion, viewing it as a threat to Russia's security. He emphasizes that Russia did not initiate the conflict in Ukraine but responded to NATO's actions and the West's support for what he describes as a coup in Ukraine in 2014.

  • I wonder what the limit is of the prosecutor's ability to appeal it and if they would be able to appeal it all the way to the supreme Court.

    IANAL

  • I think they're saying the CIA does more good than harm and the imprisonment of this particular individual serves the common good.
