  • There’s definitely a bit of IANAL but most of the time I’m just trying to avoid someone’s pedantic response, which is never welcome. No one likes a know-it-all.

  • Love the cursive. Very good haiku. Kudos!

  • Or genetic. Dad’s side of the family all has it including my 100% deaf sister. Fun.

  • I give it 5 years before this is on our phones.

  • APR’s shouldn’t exceed 15% as it is but it’s not about helping normal people.

  • Just use Nvidia's server drivers instead of gaming drivers. All the AI datacenters are using Nvidia GPUs on Linux, so Nvidia is highly motivated to make this work

This was not on my bingo card even just 5 years ago.

  • Fantastic explanation and critical thinking process. Well done.

  • That was quite good for the basics. Some of it is outdated but it gives us a good idea of why they’re set up the way they are.

  • And this is why my wife and I homeschool our kids. It’s all about teaching critical thinking. They’re so far beyond their peers in public schools it’s not even close. NCLB was one of the worst decisions for our society in centuries.

  • He believes in some weird ass pseudo-science. Once you understand that it ALL makes sense. He’s fucking nuts.

  • Personal: 2TB on iCloud shared with the family. I’m, by far, taking up the most space at 160GB.

Haven’t felt the need to use anything else. I’m still on Google too but don’t store anything new there since I have zero trust in my privacy on the service. Come to think of it, I need to remove whatever is still there and move it to iCloud.

Work: It’s all OneDrive/Sharepoint can’t remember the storage we’re given, which I don’t have control over, and don’t love. On Windows, it tends to fail to sync a folder here and there every once in a while for no apparent reason. And I absolutely hate the fact that you can’t attach a file to an Outlook email while it’s still open. Sometimes that is the best way to share it Microsoft! I wish I could use a Mac at work … sigh.

  • Oh it’s worse than that already. We’re owned by a PE group.

  • 10 days is our max away from home. We’ve done 14 twice and both times it was just too long.

  • US, unlimited vacation and PTO and the major holidays off. We’re encouraged to take off a minimum of 1wk per quarter. Definitely unique in the states. I work for an extremely large startup. Don’t know how long this vacation plan will last. lol.
