I let my cats sniff almost everything, and they usually walk away. For example, today I let them sniff some both raw chicken that I was preparing for my own dinner, and both gave it a few good sniffs before walking away. Most recently, I discovered that my youngest enjoys peanut butter! I believe it was the same cat who has also tried to eat my dried mango on multiple occasions. It was either my oldest or a friend's cat who repeatedly took me up on the offer of banana chips.

It's late, so I could be making dumb mistakes here, but I think the numbers are at least loosely factoring in those sort of expenses. It's not 100 hours/week just to cover rent, it's 100 hours/week to actually maybe afford that rent.

$7.25/hour x 40 hours/week x 4 weeks/month = $1160/month gross income
Assuming a maximum of 1/3 of gross income goes to housing, that's $383/month available for rent. The site calculates $377/month as "affordable rent" for the minimum wage worker, so for the sake of the argument, I think my calculations are close enough.
So, that means for every hour worked, about $2.39 is going towards rent ($7.25x0.33).
$2.39/hour x 106 hours/week x 4 weeks/month = $1013, which is just over their "1-Bedroom Fair Market Rent" rate of $1002/month.

The WebMD article does indicate that the specifics vary by state, but it sounds to me that delivery of a 1 month supply is legal in all 50 states.

Yeah, it's been super awesome, and I've never run into any shortages. I'm with Kaiser and they really push their patients to use their pharmacy, so I have a suspicion that's not the case for you. I've heard that many insurance companies have a preferred mail order pharmacy, so you might want to dig around with your insurance company to see if they have a preferred partner. If that doesn't work out, searching "mail order adderall" seems to turn up some possibilities, but I can't vouch for any of them. Your prescribing doctor may also have suggestions.

I'm in the US and my (generic) Adderall XR is delivered via USPS, so it's definitely possible.

Where do you get groceries? The only grocery store near me without any self checkout is Trader Joe's, and while I usually shop there first, there's always something I need that they don't carry.

Read up on Jackson Galaxy's guide to cat introductions. I foster and have 2 cats of my own, so I go through the process a few times per year, and I still pull up his guide every time as a refresher.

Secondly, if you have an adult cat at home and want to adopt another, most cat experts recommend either a single adult cat or a pair of kittens, never a single kitten. Kittens are bursting with playful energy, and even a playful adult cat is unlikely to want to play as much as a kitten. When you have a pair of kittens, they can play with each other, while a single kitten is more likely to be annoying to your adult cat.

I foster kittens and have 2 cats of my own, so I've done introductions MANY times, and introducing them face to face so quickly is a very risky way to go about things, but luckily, it doesn't seem to be a total disaster for your cats. I highly recommend checking out Jackson Galaxy's guide to cat introductions to make sure things continue smoothly.

I went through a similar journey, but with different motivations, and have unfortunately given in to feeding Friskies/Fancy Feast wet food for one of my two cats because he's slightly underweight and it was the only wet food he would eat enough of to maintain his weight.

The other cat eats Nulo Freestyle minced and shredded poultry flavors. The picky cat seems to rate Nulo somewhere in the middle of the pack. He never tries to eat Nulo if he has Friskies in his dish, but he does sometimes go for the Nulo when I offer something other than Friskies.

At this point, I'm in a love/hate relationship with Friskies. I love how much cheaper it is compared to everything else, but I would like to find something that works for both cats without being even more expensive than Nulo.

As for kibble, Dr. Elsey's was recommended by my vet as being one of the lowest carb/highest protein kibbles available, so I use that for treats, and both of my cats love it. Dr. Elsey's also has a line of wet food, but I've never tried it since my non-picky cat has a sensitive stomach and all of the flavors contain mussel, and I haven't found anywhere that sells single cans.

I was wondering the same thing recently when I saw a person walking outdoors wearing a lose fitting fabric mask covering only their mouth, not their nose. The conclusion I came to is that person must be aware that their breath smells terrible, so they wear the mask to prevent others from smelling their breath. And the mask is worn under their nose so they don't have to smell their own breath.

What happens with your cat on the weekends? Sorry, I realize that's not the point of the post, but I'm so worried about the cat being left alone all weekend!

Hahaha. I guess I might have some unreasonably high expectations of myself. Most of mine tasted okay and looked much better than his. I did 3 batches of batter, and for each batch of batter, I had at least 3 trays of cookies, so I tried different cooking times/temperatures. While some of my issues were more along the lines of appearances (lumpy, browning, cracking), the bigger issue was with cookies being too dry/crumbly or too chewy/tough. It was almost a year ago, so my memory is a bit hazy now, but I might still give it another shot when I have access to a good kitchen again.

Only thing I've run into so far that I still wasn't happy with after 3 tries is French macarons. They were definitely edible, but still not close enough to the real thing.

No, if you're a regularly consume caffeine, it has very minimal to no dehydration effects except in extreme cases, such as consuming significantly more caffeine in a day than you usually do. IIt was like 10+ years ago that I really dug into this, so my memory may be a bit fuzzy, but the general idea is that caffeine basically irritates the bladder causing you to pee more frequently, but the total volume of water loss is the same.

Searching for "caffeine dehydration" brings up tons of other articles saying that the dehydration thing is a myth. Here's a scientific study comparing effects of caffeine on hydration:

I've never actually tested that out. If it's content I want long term, I simply download it to my local storage before deleting from Whatbox.

What I've found works best for me when using public trackers for new content is to set up a max seeding ratio and whatever relevant arrs. Doing it that way means that I've usually been able to download the content and stop seeding before the swarm is discovered/monitored by those sending the notices.
