I think the bigger issue with the entirety of Linux as a whole is, getting everyone on the same page to make a distro that everyone can use and not be intimidated by. There's a distro for everyone, but there are still obstacles in some distros that people are going to run into, that'll make them turn back to Windows.

Whether it can't run a game they played, run a piece of software natively, driver support and maybe even features they thought were best suited on Windows than Linux.

And how organizers make up cutesie names to name their treehouse clubs after.

Oathkeepers. Truthers. 1776'ers. American Freedom Party. Patriot Front. It just goes on and on. All of them bullshit, all of them are blanketed bigots, racists .etc bastardizing the names with what they think 'freedom' is all about.

You're irredeemably an asshole once you've assaulted someone, have had a very lengthy criminal history, raped someone, sexually abused someone, abused children, abused any positions of power, murdered someone and any other heinous criminal activity I've not listed.

Buy an unlocked phone. Then, go see about trying Mint Mobile or MyTello. I currently pay $6 a month for a 2GB data plan and no minutes (currently, but I have Wi-Fi calling). The most you're looking to spend for an unlimited Data/Minutes plan is $25 a month through MyTello.

What I'm saying is - you're paying too much for what you're dealing with. Do yourself a favor and save. The only thing you should be paying for that's a little pricey is a decent phone.

Yes I do, what you don't understand, is the society we're in.

UBI is a great system, but I would want it heavily regulated. Because you just know and it's the truth, that a lot of people will sit on their ass all day and take advantage of it. This is a system that should be for those who're actually struggling.

And I say this because I've heard stories and seen it first hand, of people lying on documents and forms to get benefits that they don't deserve. You cannot introduce and incorporate UBI with the mindset that nothing can go wrong - because it could, if it's unchecked.

I think I know what you're talking about. I do believe there's a time and place for anything, but just trauma dumping your life's woes somewhere like on a YouTube comment section, is probably not one of those places.

If you feel like there's nobody to talk to about it - write a blog or a journal entry. Dump your feelings and experiences there, then share them whenever someone asks you what's wrong. There are places and sites that are open for one to talk about these sensitive subjects to.

But there's just no reason to randomly do it on like YouTube comment sections for example. I see it nearly all of the time.

Which is why I said he was advised to resign. If nobody got into his ear to tell him, he'd probably be figuring other ways to avoid or make it so he can't be convicted.

Because a lot of them ended up getting picked up by the government, hired to be in cyber security departments. If what they're doing, to them, brings them security/stability and not jail, they'll take it.

You need to turn this attitude around from being full of dread to being adventurous. If the job is as bad as you're making it sound, you too, would want next to nothing to do with the job. The manager is giving you an out here.

I didn't see where it stated what kind of older, unsupported hardware Windows 11 would feasibly be installed on. Like what, 5 years before it's release? Even then, why would anyone have Windows 11 on computers 10+ years old?
