  • But how will we play Mario Kart World? Why not release it on Switch 1? Oh that's right, they want people to buy the new gaming system. Screw others who can't afford it. It's just a couple hundred extra bucks. Just put that extra money aside for two months and you will have your Switch 2.

  • If you have to buy it, you own it. Make it free to play but have in game purchases. Everyone knows free games can shut down any time. I play lot of mobile apps until I get tired of playing it, then delete.

I avoid buying games that requires online connection. It means the game is unplayable without it.

It's sickening what companies can get away with just because it's legal. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

  • We are buying supplies to do fixes in our home like fresh paint, to get it up for market.

  • I'm banned off reddit. It was only a generic message i got saying I violated multiple rules. First it was my alt and then my main hours later. I have no idea what happened. Maybe me being on a public wi fi at a hotel and then someone there logged in two weeks later with a banned account so it got connected to mine.

With lemmy was active as reddit. Now it's just a read only site for me.

  • I saw i had a proxy IP but I can't even help that because it's automatic and I have no idea how to change it. I'm tech illiterate. I know some places will ban you for a proxy. I've gotten that accusation before on a forum and I knew nothing about proxy IP. I only guessed that assumption came from me moving house 5 times in 1 year because I was a young adult. My parents, my own, my aunt and uncles, my ex, then my apartment and we have had to change internet providers a few times for cost. But the mods used that as a scapegoat to blame other issues in me other users did I didn't do, especially when I got impersonated. Sorry for living lol. Humans move you know and access the internet wherever. Some people use a paid vpn to keep their IP consistent because they access the internet all over because they travel a lot for work.

Maybe I was banned for my proxy UP, who knows. I never ban evaded. I never created a new account to evade a ban. Both my accounts existed before the ban wave. I take website policies seriously. If I am so butthurt by someone, I block them and move on than following them and commenting on their posts or getting into petty arguements.

  • Right wings lie bout wanting freedom of speech. They just want to sprout racist stuff and other phobic stuff. They treat LGBT like it's a fetish.

  • Wait, many users are being banned right now?

I never ban evaded and I don't know how I would multi bot. Reddit says we can have more than one account just as long as we don't break the rules. I followed what their policy said. They even say make a new account if you don't like your username but I'm afraid their bot will just ban you for posting in the same subreddits you did with your other account or if you get baned, your posts on your older account could show up as a ban evasion if one of the mods comes across your older post. I'm speculating this is how I was banned.

I guess shreddit all your comments first before moving onto a new account but what if reddit sees that as you trying to get around the rules and stuff when they said you would need to make a new account if you want to change your username.

  • I'm surprised they let me play it as a banned user.

  • I hear they disable/delete your account but they let me keep mine. "Oh we will let you log in but you can no longer post. Oh we will let you vote still and play this nice little game for April Fools in r/field. Oh we will let you have a new account for a half hour to modmail the admins. Oh we will let you save posts and delete your own comments."

    My reddit experience right now.

  • You're late to the party, the reddit admins fixed that error with their bot when they got many complaints and users using Luigi Mario character as a meme. One if the admins announced it in their post.

  • I will never use smart technology. I prefer analogue technology. Imagine using a subscription in your home for lights and TV and AC and heat and appliances and then boom, they decide to terminate your subscription and now your home is inaccessible for habitat.

  • So you're saying your account doesn't get banned until you post and bam, banned.

Pointless having a unbanned reddit account if you can't post.

  • We no longer own our products. We just pay to use it until they decide you can no longer use their service. What happens if they mysteriously shut down your account without warning?

That is what happened to a guy and he had to get court involved and then he found out his account was flagged for CP by their algorithm because he had a video of his 19 year old ex. False bans do happen. I couldn't find that story again sadly to share.

Also, make sure you always have back up turned off or have one drive not installed on your phone. If you're a parent, be careful what photos you take of your children because if those get backed up to cloud, their AI will kill your account because it can't tell between CP and normal family photos.

I actually want to own our products than make accounts to use.

  • Being perm banned without warning and no reason given. Just happened random. So I started to look for an alternative.

  • I once got a warning for site rule 4 when I told a fetishist she shouldn't be in a subreddit for minors regarding that fetish. Somehow that was suggestion sexual exploitation of minors. I suspect that user reported my comment out of retaliation to try and kick me off reddit. I didn't appeal it because I figured i would just avoid that topic in the future and it was only a warning, not a perm ban or suspension.

  • Shoot, we have a proxy IP and I have no idea how to not have one. Plus my husband uses avg that blocks websites tracking him. He isn't banned on reddit but he's never posted anything. Only read.

  • No idea, it was random. I even looked through my comments to see any deleted content from reddit. I guess I was site wide banned for saying a killer is less dangerous if he only kills child predators. It was to an article about a man killing his cell mate for sexually abusing a kid. People in the comments praised him for it but other users had to remind them he is in prison for killing other people. I said he would be less dangerous if he had only killed child predators. That got me lot of upvotes. I couldn't find this comment of mine so I assumed reddit removed it.

I also said another time how a kid had to die for the mom to finally get help from the state. The kid froze to death when the mom was homeless with her kids living in the car. Then the state of Michigan grants her a house when that should have happened before one of her kids froze to death. Obviously redditers knew what I meant because they upvoted it. I wasn't citing violence for kids to die for parents to get assistance from the state. Yet reddit never alerted me so I could appeal it. There is nothing in my messages about what content of mine violated their sitewide rules which makes me think it was done by AI than by a human.

I guess this was citing violence against a group of people. :/

  • I prefer real people and real artwork hand painted or hand drawn. Yes, doing it digital with your hand and mouse count as hand made.

  • I'm old

    Jump
  • I remember this. I never knew what it was for.

  • I have that same message in both accounts. i even reached out to reddit support for more information when my appeal was denied for both accounts. Still awaiting to hear back.
