  • His grieving dad Michael said he and his wife were not able to say goodbye as they were stuck in traffic.

If I were in his situation, I'd be weaving through traffic and driving on the shoulder to get to my son. It honestly blows my mind how some people are so law-abiding that they literally will not commit even a relatively minor infraction (in the grand scheme of things) when it matters most, even during a literal emergency. No sensible jury would convict this man for breaking traffic laws in this situation.

I'd gladly do my 6 months to a year in jail if it meant that I got the chance to say goodbye. This father is unbelievable.

Edit: I was wondering why my inbox blew up this morning... I'm not reading all these replies lol. It's not good for my mental health.

I stand by what I said. Shame on all the bad parents out there who wouldn't do anything and everything for their kids. Y'all disappoint me. And shoutout to the four of you who agree with me. You get it.

  • You were lucky. I never had to shut down my WinMe PC, because it would blue screen and shut itself down near the end of the day, every day. I'm glad it introduced System Restore because I had to use it often due to constant data loss.

  • Can't agree with this. I got dozens of hours out of Portal 2, simply from replaying it so many times (which is an amazing feat in of itself because I never finish games).

Meanwhile I was bored of Stardew Valley after two hours of wandering around and not being able to find anything to do. From what I've gathered, the game expects you to figure out how play it on your own. I'm in my late 30s and I have bills to pay. I don't have the time nor the patience for a game like that anymore.

Edit: Point I forgot to make is that I feel like for a game to be considered the highest rated among them all, it should have universal appeal. But that's just my 2¢.

  • I do. Do you remember how the N64 version emulated the arcade version by being played with two controllers? You held one controller in each hand and used the joysticks as the left and right engine throttles.

  • Okay lol maybe I want them for other games too.

Six face buttons, two joysticks, a D-Pad, a touchpad, four triggers (two being analog with a click at the end of the range), four paddles (like the Steam controller), HD rumble. That's what I want in a controller. Nothing less. Such a controller does not seem to exist.

  • Not quite what I'm looking for (but thanks). I should probably mention that I also need dual joysticks, quad triggers, quad paddles, a touchpad, and a D-Pad. Basically everything you can get on both a Steam controller and an XBOX controller, except with two extra face buttons.
