It's definitely looking like a possibility. I do my work on Linux machines but only use win for games. If I can play my main community games it might be time to make the switch for good
Newest versions of windows 11 make it incredibly hard to find the screen that shows all your network adapters. It is now easier to use device manager to disable and reenable an adapter.
How do I know? Because all the shit tier screens and tools that offer to help you with a network issue didn't work. ONLY reenabling the NIC did.
Cod MW2/3 are total crapshoots with frame rates, even on a 3080 and set to performance it can still just turn to crap. It seems to run more stable and on higher settings on 2070 laptop. I don't understand. (I tried to get as much hardware running DMZ as possible for friends and family, lots of machines)
Fine line between "chat is a bunch of friends and we have fun together" and "there are so many people I don't remember anything about anyone".
It's a weird dichotomy, I stream for fun and prevent me gaming in the dark, alone; but it also affects my game choice and starts to feel like an obligation because people start to feel at home there.
Analytics and gamification behind the scenes adds some stress too, number to up makes dopamine go brr.
I'm not showing off, I hate it. Stupid retro style clockwork. To do anything below 3 minutes you have to wind it over 3 minutes and back again. FUCK. And the red sticker that tells you that is unremovable, so the fucking retro style is ruined anyway. Hard to believe it was manufactured in this millennium.
It’s definitely flawed in a bunch of ways, I usually play with a hardcore self imposed rule set, getting good ammo to beat armour is one way, another way is just avoiding those fights or taking medium quality ammo from the corpses of other players after the shooting stops.
There are some changes soon where armour is more localised, meaning a spray of cheap ammo to the torso still stands a chance of getting through for massive damage. It may also reduce the number of people wearing armour. I’ve not played in a while, the AI is what really turns me off, dying to a bot a mile away without warning. But that’s also part of the charm. shrug
