Edit: Thought you meant right-wing libertarianism. Was confused, since IMHO Marx (without Lenin/Mao/etc.) is actually quite compatible with left-wing libertarianism. Even if he had a personal feud with Bakunin.

Considering that the USSR only claimed to be socialist and used propaganda (in accord with the US) to convince the people that state control is the same as worker's control over the means of production (it isn't), the girl is probably correct.

I've heard this a few times and wholeheartedly believe it. But I don't know any sources, when I'm asked. Do you happen to know any?

I switched back in 2005 (I think), because Windows XP didn't have the drivers for being installed on an S-ATA drive and SUSE could be installed without any hassle. I feel very old.

I've heard good things of Chimera OS. Haven't used it myself yet, though.

AFAIK, it is an aggregator. Meaning: you can pick and choose between search engines (google, bing, ...).

If you make your instance public, you make it harder to get profiled, since your search behavior can't be analyzed as easily.

Last but not least: You don't have to trust any search engine company.

Let's hope that Linux Phone OSes will be able to be daily drivers until then.
