I've been doing a majority of my gaming on a steam deck lately, running Linux. Check my deck says that anno 1404 is not supported on the deck though. In general, I'd say that Linux gaming has gotten a LOT better, but it is not yet perfect.
You may be right! law.com found the same. I had heard the shylock part, and often time Jewish people are demonized as unscrupulous lawyers and bankers, so it made sense. I'm not sure now... I think I'll avoid it still to keep people comfortable, even if it is a fun word to say...
To be fair, racism is weird. It's not normal, and most Americans are not racist. People need to start talking out and letting everyone know we don't support that nonsense, and hopefully we'll eradicate it.
I love GOG, and support GOG, especially when it comes to nostalgic old PC games... but... I love steam achievements, I love the Steam Deck, and I love seeing my gaming stats, like top 10 games played and such. So I default to Steam.
