I don't think so. Their apps ar not even on fdroid which is a shame!

I use it for some random stuff nothing too personal. Unless they provide a free and open source app on fdroid and start caring more about real privacy than some crypto and other random stuff I won't trust them much. Still it's better than Goolag or Microshit.

I think the perfect combo is compiling from source for all crucial stuff and your system software and flatpaks for graphical programs.

I mean, I'm not totally opposed to the idea of rewarding users in a decentralized way but speaking of freedom and decentralization on a platform that really gives a shit about values is pure hypocrisy.

I hope that when the UI matures it will be as easy to use as whatsapp or signal.

Yeah, all necessary features are implemented now the UI just has to get a little bit more organised and the sharing process simplified. Actually I really like the QR-code approach. It's straightforward and gives you full anonmity. Perfect for talking to strangers.

I already moved on to SimpleX. Now that signal is just another internet only messaging app why shouldn't I switch to a service that has entirely eliminated the prerequisite of a phone or account number.

Sure but It works for the few apps I need (Banking, Public Transport). Also waydroid is not a vm but rather a container which reduces overhead.

But do they have such a clean and minimalist UI like Jerboa? I really love how this app sticks to the flat and simlke material UI without any visual clutter. I mean have you seen the size of the app? It's some few megabites!

I only tried Liftoff and the lag was significantly worse there. Maybe they fixed it by now. As for Jerboa it isn't that bad that it would bother me much. Honestly I'm not even noticing it anymore.

Honestly Jerboa is so polished that it feels like an android system app.

Don't forget about Zrythm!!! It has the most modern look from all DAWs I know.
