Even on reddit I'd get replies to years old comments. I remember one user watching Breaking Bad and reading the old response threads and engaging with me from there.

I don't mind at all, especially as I'm trying to be uplifting with my comments.

I blocked it because I browse all and every day dozens of communities were being created. And I don't need porn communities here really. I just didn't want to miss out on the non-porn NSFW content, comics like Oglaf.

Edit: Shit I just remembered it was actually because assholes kept posting SFW pics of celebs causing their NSFW communities to show up.

Solid finale in my opinion.

I can see why various YouTube channels are predicting a return of all the Defenders next season, although it's a pipe dream.

I will say that I'm very surprised we got a mention of Ray Nadeem. That's a sign to me that this is a fairly full continuation of the prior Daredevil series, less of a Disney bargain than I'd feared. They could easily have not named him and made allusions instead.

Yes, people say antisocial when they mean asocial. The asocial people are those who avoid being around others and/or get exhausted easily in social situations.

Yeah, if I got that many calls, you'd be 100% correct. I get maybe five calls a week.

I've never seen someone annoyed when mine has gone off in public. I am rarely in public though.

I'm talking about Lemmy bots in general, on any instances.

I view all and have to block bots fairly often as they're posting things in languages I can't read in large amounts.

I think they're supposed to use language tags and are not, but I just block them because of there being a large amount of unhelpful content.

And let's be honest, there's always gonna be a ton of that, hence my filtering. But if the people making bots to post content could make sure the posts are properly marked, I wouldn't need to block them and would continue to see the content they post that I can read.

None of them do their language settings well.

Two of our four cats often show up in the bathroom when we are showering so we can wet them down with our hands when we get out.

My point was more that some people did the right thing, not that it's enough to eliminate a statistical slump.

Some people of the time would think the Chinese were heartless people to do what they did, and some quietly raised their other children, that's all.

While that definitely happened, the thankful reality is that many families raised their daughters unofficially.

The hobo code and hobo nickels made it into the game too. It was fairly comprehensive.

John Hodgman wrote the book The Areas of My Expertise, which has a list of hobo names for some bizarre reason.

Kingdom of Loathing, in making a multi-player clan hobo dungeon, used that list of names as a random hobo name generator, and then named the boss of the whole place Hodgman, the Hoboverlord.

I went to a standup show where Hodgman was supposed to do a set and he had cancelled, replaced with Brian Posehn. Brian was also awesome but I really wanted to tell John Hodgman how he inadvertently saved my life.

Now the details of how you get that specific item are even weirder but I'm done phone typing.

I once helped someone get a Hodgman's Imaginary Hamster and in return he gifted me a few IRL pot plants (Super Lemon Haze, a damn good strain) that I used to pull myself and my Dad out of a pit.

Game inadvertently saved our lives, and I still haven't gotten to thank John Hodgman.

(Yes, the game is that insane and silly. Getting that damn hamster requires at least 10 people working together.)

Games have been around the $50-$70 mark my entire life.

It's a sad reality, but I expect prices of major mainstream games to go up, regardless of tariffs.

They will never tax the rich without taxing passive income.
