Yes, but the warning was included in the subject. Also there's no more obvious twist than that.

I'd heard for many years how amazing they were, so I finally tried them.

Each game has a major plot twist. Both are obvious enough but if you google anything the spoiler in the first game is ruined.

The one in the second I was assured was a better game but apparently only if you download the unofficial patch that finishes the game, and it still can't save the game from the obvious fucking fact you've been carrying around the BBEG since the goddamned beginning while everyone tried to pretend otherwise.

People want remakes of these games primarily for nostalgia, and they do not hold up.

Don't give anyone ideas.

Thank you! This last one was really a leap of faith, someone I barely knew at all who needed a place to stay. We've all been lucky!

A few times I've been there for friends and helped them through rough times just by being someone to talk to.

But I also helped my best friend and roommate by paying most of the bills while he developed his IT/engineering skills. He's got a good career now but struggled for a few years.

Then I took someone in a couple months ago and she's staying in my attic now. That's going well, my wife and I get along great with her. Hopefully it'll all turn out well.

There were three women who were best friends, took their breaks together, etc. And in the Christmas season they wore matching knit sweaters and would walk down the hall side by side so it would read "Ho! Ho! Ho!"

But one day when I was leaving the break room, they approached... and one was out sick. Before I could stop myself I asked "Where's the other Ho?"

Might've gotten a visit to HR from it if I hadn't looked so shocked at myself.

I suppose it depends on why they don't have security clearance. If it's someone who could never qualify for it, that would need to be announced and explained.

If it's simply a candidate who doesn't yet have it, that's something that should be known for the same reasons. They don't have all the information other candidates do, but are operating with the information they do have.

I've done a lot of self-forgiveness in recent years, so a lot of the simpler and sillier ones I don't think of as embarrassing anymore.

I would argue that it shows how blinded one can be by the demands placed upon us by capitalism. We think about the rewards more than the karmic costs, because it's easy to think about what you got at Walmart but abstract how that's undermined life all over.

I've heard of hunt-and-peck typers but this is a little on the nose.

I think it's because the aroma of coffee is so important to its flavor.

My wife prefers flavored coffees and I shy away from them.

I thought I'd gotten them mixed or there was residue in my coffee maker because my coffee kept tasting sweet and I don't add sugar or use sweeteners at all.

Across the room was a candle in a jar, lid off, unlit, hazelnut coffee scented.

ACROSS THE ROOM it was enough to make me think my coffee was actually sweet. So yeah, it's all about the smell.

I know, I was just making a joke. I like my animals being a little wild, but that's how I train mine. I like when they climb onto my shoulders.
