@morgan423 @neku Never say never. I think maybe I should get a ps5. I know I am missing out gaming at high settings.

@MJBrune @hogart the steam deck 2 should be more open and not my reliant on playing games from steam. This would be a huge win for open and free gaming, playing wise.

@BitingChaos @petsoi this is why valve or some other true Linux laptop need to come in the game. Steam deck proves that Linux can be fun and useful. It’s hard finding a gaming laptop that can be used for all day work like school or whatever.

@Helix @someguy3 what do you mean? Wouldn’t a budget gaming laptop get more FPS at higher settings? What kind of gaming laptop should one get? What’s mid range?

@sugarinyourtea @Holzkohlen heroic doesn’t have a forum or an accessible place to get support. It’s AI and then discord or GitHub. Contact needs to be easier. Gog feels like I’m buying from a emulator site with no human contact for help

@sugarinyourtea @Holzkohlen so DRM free on steam is legit as it is on gog? If so, then I I just buy it on steam and not need a launcher or have any worries about not owning the purchase.

@rikudou @dingus I just posted my experiences using gog through heroic on this thread. I would appreciate your input.

@DubiousFart @Raincloud I get this error when I play some games from GOG through heroic which happens on steam deck. Also, controller support is not great on gog through heroic. So, this makes me stay on steam to play games. Anyway, I hear that steam has drm free games so if BG3 and Star field are drm free then it doesn’t matter if it’s on steam or gog.
