  • If the indigenous people of North America had discovered gunpowder, there is no reason to believe they wouldn't have shot every buffalo in sight, not to mention each other when tensions between groups arose.

Indigenous Americans had a wide array of cultures and beliefs and art. But they were not all gentle farmers and nomads who lived in harmony with the land. They were just normal human beings, with all the amazing and terrible things that go along with that.

That goes against my understanding of native culture

  • That's an interesting take on it but the kompromat is overwhelming including financial beholdence and child rape evidence.

But yea, drumft is a scared little shit and thinking pootin put him in office and he could take him out and ruin him just as easily.

Which begs the question why didn't and doesn't the cia expose that drumft is a Russian asset?

It's very tough in that spy v spy battle with pootin, but surely the cia could get the transcripts of their conversations if the tried. So why didn't they?

  • Seems pretty cherry picked. From the Wapo regarding Twitter:

But the study doesn’t go so far as to say that Russia had no influence on people who voted for President Donald Trump.

It doesn’t examine other social media, like the much-larger Facebook.

Nor does it address Russian hack-and-leak operations. Another major study in 2018 by University of Pennsylvania communications professor Kathleen Hall Jamieson suggested those probably played a significant role in the 2016 race’s outcome.

Lastly, it doesn’t suggest that foreign influence operations aren’t a threat at all.
