Good. Now that we are here, I hope trump causes the complete fall of American Capitalism along with American world influence. We haven't been worthy of our position since the late 40's, if we ever were.

That university had no business banning those words and ideally the people who came up with the banned words would be guillotined. Because if you don't nip thought policing in the bud, you end up with what the current administration is doing in an official capacity. Then the next step is the subject of various over referenced books and dystopian fictional stories except real.

Agreed. But remember Newsome and California in general have never been particularly "left" leaning even in the American sense. Newsome himself has always been extremely "pro-business," and other then some PR stunts he did for the (rich) gay community like 20+ years ago, he's been pretty indistinguishable from Arnold Schwarzenegger. Even a very visible, and popular voter initiative like High-Speed rail has gotten nothing by lip-service which is why it will never be anymore then a pipedream as long as people like him are in charge of the California Democratic party.

We use sex as a proxy for athletic potential in sports in order to keep things fair for women and men. Otherwise women's sports wouldn't exist at all because it's a biological fact that male athletes are absolutely stronger/faster/better at basically any sport. No whatever corner case you throw out has no bearing on the above fact.

The mainstream existence of trans-athletes shows that we need a different way to create competitive leagues (just sex isn't sufficient) so that trans-athletes can be included, but no one has an agreed upon solution for that yet.

Propaganda is really only effective if you don't recognize its bias to begin with. That's why media literacy is so important.

Why doesn't the US just produce more eggs? Hell Trump could even strong arm the existing egg cartel and throw them in jail and nationalize egg production so that it's more resilient (this isn't a complicated concept, it's only not done because it cost more money). If you are going to be a fascist, at least feed your people.

In America voter fraud is a myth. Gerrymandering and buying the blue and red candidates that will do what you want is much cheaper, easier, and perfectly legal. We do have to register to vote, but beyond that there is no other requirement for voting.

The push for voter ID is more for disenfranchisement under the guise of fraud prevention.

Some of them did get primary challengers, but the primary process is broken by design so that real primary's rarely are able to happen at all. The amount of effort to successfully primary an incumbant is hugely imbalanced compared to just being the incumbent that if the incumbent expends the barest effort, they are all but certain to maintain their seat in most single-party states.

It's obviously not popularity that she is worried about be cause support for universal healthcare is bi-partisian and consistently polls extremely well, but you bet your ass this representative would find some reason to oppose it if it was ever in danger of passing.

Is the goal here to make sure that we maximize the number of people on the planet and homogenize the food and grow food without consideration for the local climate?

Since a Mediterranean diet is region based and not everyone in the world lives there, that means that it's suddenly not sustainable? What kind of logic is that?
