  • Chives, fresh or dry. It started as a joke when a buddy and I made the pizza from System of a Down's Chik N' Stu song and I've never gone back.

Fresh, they bring this green crispness that contrasts really well with the other ingredients. Dry chives burn a little in the baking process but in all the right ways, giving the whole pizza a deep smoky taste that feels amazing.

  • I actually just recently did this after a misplaced magnet nearly took away my digital media collection. Turns out a Plex server is stupidly easy to set up and you can stream it everywhere you can watch Netflix.

Just to add, once you have your own server, you can share your library with up to 100 friends on Plex. Just become your own streaming service for basically free.

  • I have and that's why it frustrates me, because it's functionally just partially chewed cheese bread in a triangle.

Your second point actually helps me suss out some of my issue. Yes, stuffing and mashed potato sandwich is just carbs on carbs on carbs, but each of those has their own distinct flavor and texture profile. While I wouldn't stop at just those, you're only a slab of ham and some cranberry relish away from my traditional Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich.

Mac and pizza though, I wouldn't put mac and cheese on bread and call it a sandwich. I think my hangup is the Mac and cheese.

  • You know how it's a common misconception that in the early days of cinema people were fleeing the theatre because they thought the oncoming train was real?

Someday, they're going to think we were all Charizarding each other during the height of the Pokemon craze and that's where all these "sick burns" come from.

  • I've been reading T. Kingfisher lately and in absolutely in love. I picked up The Hollow Places thinking it would probably be a waste but it's become my favorite book. I've just started What Moves the Dead, and in already hooked, her descriptive ability is immaculate.

I would also recommend The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Sterling, Hide by Kiersten White, and Bunny by Mona Awad.
