  • For me it held up pretty well, but I can have an obsessive quirk about new things I find interesting.

    Everything hit for me with this show. The plot, the pacing, the acting, the music, the action. Even bits of comedy. I think Joel Kinnaman played a big part in why it was so enjoyable.

  • I had an S3 for ages because you could get a replacement battery for like $12. Upgraded to an S10, can no longer swap the battery. Biding my time.

    I hate this forced upgrade/payment model and how phones seemed to double in cost almost overnight.

    They're even trying to get sneakier with the contracts. 3 years now to payoff your device, instead of 2, but the payment is the same. Absolutely bonkers.

  • Yes, and I've noticed something very odd. There seems to be some sort of false engagement and fake upvotes going on for average users.

    Normally I post a smart-ass comment, and either get ignored, or down-voted a couple times...

    Ever since the API restrictions, it's like no matter what I post, it gets a few upvotes very quickly. Some of these have mini explosions and gain a bit of traction.

    I'm also seeing A LOT more activity on some of my other niche subs.

    It just seems so fake and contrary to my prior 11 years of experience, makes no sense unless it is being bot driven.

  • I love my Credit Union. Been a victim of Wells Fargo in the past and it was delightful finally closing my accounts with them years ago. Haven't looked back. Haven't had any weird fees since.

    Unfortunately, this still seems like a drop in the bucket vs. what they made off with.
