If season 7 is the one where the hospital was turned into a school and they all came back - yep, it was awful. I couldn’t even stomach the full first episode before turning it off. Loved the rest of the show though.
I’ve been using Strongbox since 1Password switched to subscription only and it’s been good. It’s based on Keepass and supports all the normal password manager stuff (TOTP, passkeys, etc):
I use the desktop and mobile apps, and keep my vault stored in my iCloud account so everything is always synced real time without relying on a third party cloud (yes, I know I’m still relying on Apple for that).
I work in IT in healthcare at an epic shop, and everyone I’ve ever talked to that has either worked at or knows someone who works at epic says it’s a meat grinder. They seem to like young staff that they can work long hours for several years, so may want to ask around to see if their work culture is for you.
Also, if I was looking for rewarding programming work, an EMR would not be where I’d look for many reasons.
I know some swear by the travel bidet (not for everyone), but for the masses, a pack of biodegradable “flushable” wipes are a great addition to your toiletry kit. Just one or 2 after you’re done with all of your other business leaves you nice and fresh for the day and can bury them if you’re backpacking.
I’d also argue for getting whole chickens (and spring for the nicer ones too). Roast it, pull off the breasts and eat those, eat the drumsticks if you enjoy them, or use the entire rest of the carcass for making really good stock.
I had the same experience. First protest I’ve been to and besides one dude that drove by flipping everyone off and one crazy old dude with a “dems are pedos” sign (yes, with what’s happening in South Carolina literally right now, the irony was lost on this person), a very positive mood all around. Loads of folks driving by, waving and honking horns, some kids in attendance, and everybody getting along very well in support of a common cause.
