so many software engineers think they're the only one who understands the world and that they are the one to have the final say in any discussion
i think that stems from their outrageous overpayment
it's their marketing brains.. believing hype and parroting buzzwords are mental shortcuts to never having to think for yourself and they prefer it that way
i just apply through sites like LinkedIn, or by going directly to the careers page of whatever company I'm looking at.. most of the time I'll get a rejection or just not hear back, but applying to enough places eventually gets some bites.. I'll be starting a new job in a couple of weeks after having applied to a few places back in October and going through the interview process at a couple places since.
um... what kind of person uses an acronym over and over through a long ass article without ever stating what the fuck that acronym stands for?
