There's never been a case of something having different behavior or health effects just because of a tiny chemical difference (trans fat) or size difference (micro plastics), what's the worst that could happen?

In theory chargers being more readily available will help with this. If they mark up the electricity 10x and all the tenants just charge at work instead, there's a motive to make the price more competitive. In practice we might just end up with more AI price fixing and consumers with no recourse.

They're building to skirt regulations (efficiency requirements scale related to vehicle size) instead of just making the small reliable vehicles that almost everyone actually needs. The increased size of the average vehicle also leads some people to prefer larger vehicles themselves even if they don't need them. Try driving a smaller car and see how much more often you're blinded by headlights, both oncoming and from behind.

I don't know what the solution is but I'm glad to hear car makers are not seeing massive success with the current oversized lineups.

It doesn't match my personal experience, but I won't go as far as to say it isn't true. Even someone very experienced with a substance can have a bad trip, even if they're familiar with the same dose. Sometimes your brain interprets what's happening as really cool and interesting. Other times it might interpret those same events as terrifying.

Exactly. "I'm not trump" barely got Biden in when trump was the incumbent with covid running rampant. It didn't work for Clinton in 2016 and unsurprisingly it didn't work for Harris in 2024. The level of incompetence at the DNC really makes me think the actual goal is to prevent our politics/country from shifting to the left at any cost.
