The problem is it's so much easier to just paint all Republicans with a broad brush rather than actually try to fix the party. Democrats like myself are just as likely to tend toward tribalism and the "us versus them" mentality. Good luck routing out the fascists and bigots. I hope the remaining reasonable Republicans can regain some control.

I did not say hormone replacement therapy. I said hormone therapy, which is exactly what "pausing puberty" involves.

Honestly no. I have better things to dream about. I have lived in the ghetto, and fallen asleep to the sound of gunshots and sirens. I have a wife who I love, and I want to make sure she doesn't come to any harm. I'm sad for you that you think guns are only weapons for mass murders. Maybe someday you'll realize self-defense is a valid reason to own guns. Be honest, could you live with yourself if your home gets broken into and your spouse or child gets killed and you stood there looking around doing nothing because you weren't armed?

You're not going to get any sympathy here, but for what it's worth I agree with you. Some children may be entirely convinced that they know exactly what they want, and two years later they may find out they were completely wrong. I'm a trans ally, but I think children should require the explicit informed consent of their parents for any and all medical treatments including hormone therapy.

Voting for Biden is not ethical. He's actively supporting genocide. I'm still going to vote for him because he's better than the other bastard, but don't fool yourself into thinking he's innocent.
