Your first link doesn't even mention Florida (unless I missed it). It simply states other judges that have been appointed by Trump. You created the scope of the conversation by stating it is common for Florida judges to be "bigoted". I'm seeking examples of said bigotry.
Your second link simply states Florida judges, who are required to take 30 hours of classes, are no longer required to take any classes regarding "fairness and diversity". That is certainly not evidence of bogtry.
Look man, you are the one you made a statement: Florida judges are commonly bigoted. Your links don't prove anything of the sort. I'm talking about them handing down verdicts that are objectively bigoted towards the person who is on the receiving end of that verdict. And I'm not taking about one or two cases. You said "common" which means this happens on a routine basis. Either you have the evidence or you don't.
I do. It's great. Order something Monday afternoon, most likely get it by end of business Tuesday. And the very few times there has been an issue, they always resolve it to my satisfaction.
What a bunch of garbage. The left doesn't need the right, but the right needs the left.....for trolling! Twitter is just as bad or good as it's always been. I use it once or twice a week. But my political views do not dictate every aspect of my life.
Yes, they should be punished for paying below minimum wage. Regardless of the workers legal status. And they should be punished for employing anyone who isn't legally allowed to work here. Hit them with a double whammy. Not some bullshit 6 or low 7 figure number.
We don't get to pick and choose which laws to follow.
I know this may be difficult for you to believe, but there are those who actually like working outside. Now, for what wage is a different discussion.
Our species is good at adapting. We wouldn't have made it this far if we weren't. If those doing the job for a third of the federal minium wage (source needed) were no longer able to, we would be forced to higher citizens for a legal wage (not less than minimum).
Your comment reads as if you're in favor or are ok with illegal immigrants being exploited. I certainly hope not.
Not stating anything in the article isn't true, but wouldn't it be better to post a less biased source? That website has a very obvious bias. The other day, someone used motherjones as a source. I know Lemmy is extremely left leaning, but left wing rags shouldn't be used as legitimate sources.
The headline alone should be enough to avoid that website. No one is trying to erase them. That's hyperbole.
You and I define hostile very differently. If you can't have a calm conversation with perceiving hostility, I would advise against online conversations. Interpreting tone of text without hearing a literal tone of voice and facial expressions can be difficult for some.
Not everyone is talking about Trump. That's a serious case of TDS. Just because the media, who loves him, for obvious reasons, chooses to discuss him 24/7 doesn't imply the average person is. I can't recall the last time I spoke to someone in person about him. It happens enough online for my taste.
You can word it how you want, but you are defending them; a thing can be two things. I'm sorry if this upsets you.
It's one thing for this to happen, shrug, and not give a shit. It's another to glorify this guy.
It happened. I'm not upset about it. But this Luigi cat isn't my hero.
