  • I don’t know if people are fully aware of what the department of education does. It essentially makes sure that every school is following the federal laws that have been written in regards to fair access education, but it also distributes billions of dollars to public schools. If you’ve ever heard the term “title one school.” That is a school, where the majority of the students live in a state of poverty, and are therefore entitled to federal funds. If we allow the GOP to just completely take down the department of education, it could cripple most of your inner city schools.
