  • Ooh, I may have to try that. I think it's actually recommended to have some kind of cover because you don't want to stick a 15-25 lb blanket into your washer every time. The rinse cycle gets a little scary. So a cover would definitely help with that.

  • I get super toasty under mine, so all I use are an unfitted sheet and the weighted blanket.

  • I have one that's black on one side and gray on the other. Does that count?

  • Those gears aren't gonna turn.

  • Even then, this is still a solid 30-40% increase in downloads. That's statistically significant right there.

  • I see a k following the numbers, so I'm assuming that's total number of downloads.

  • I haven't looked into the details myself since I got lucky with my used Switch. But, yeah, it should still be possible.

  • Alas, the only easily hackable Switch's were made until about a year after release. To hack modern ones requires a special mod chip that isn't easily soldered on.
Nintendo unfortunately did a good job on hack proofing the Switch.

  • If I recall correctly, the shareholders also can and will sue you if you make a decision that earns them less money than if you had done something more profitable for them. So the companies have a legal incentive to only serve their shareholders.

  • I'd call them BJ's: Bean Jeans

  • There's actually two Switch emulators. Ryujinx is the other one. I've tried both and they're both solid options.

  • That's what I remember reading, too. I think that particular area gets its own lymph node system or something like that. Similar to how our head and neck have their own dedicated system.
Those areas are prone to bacteria, so they get beefed up protections.

  • This is the big thing. There are multiple niche, and not-so-niche, subreddits that just don't exist here. Or they have nowhere near the presence as on Reddit.
Don't get me wrong, I'm trying to fix that by contributing where I can, but I am just one person.

  • Because he's not a '90s cat. He's a '70s cat.

  • What if we gave them fur that glows under UV light? And then modify our headlights to give off just a little UV. Then when the light hits their fur, they glow!
Most predators don't have UV flashlights, so this should be a viable alternative.

  • This is only the beginning. It's only going to get harder and harder to know what is and isn't real online.
Sure, you and I are aware of this and have an idea of what to look out for. But do my older parents or grandparents know about this stuff and what to look for? I seriously doubt it.

  • I think it would be better to think of it as, "Do we want everyone to have the same general idea of what 5pm means? Or to have everyone be on one time?"

Edit: I know it's an imperfect question as northern/southern latitudes can get dark sooner/later than the other pending the season. But 5pm to a Californian is going to feel very different than to a German if we're all on one time.
Those are just my thoughts, though.

  • I think the true OG dildos were stone. I found a rather phallic shaped rock as a kid, and it would not surprise me in the slightest if someone used it as one ages ago.

  • That I'm not sure. I personally haven't noticed any difference between the emulated one and a "real" BIOS, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. In theory they should all work the same regardless of their version, but I don't know that.
