I use both. They work well and get out of my way, while adding security. Just make sure you use a distro that has those things working OOTB and you'll be fine.
It's just their devices just aren't up to standards. Of all, only Pixel phones have the security features GrapheneOS is looking for. If that isn't indicative of the garbage that OEMs are putting out there, I don't know what is.
I feel like we're living in a [Billy Joel - We Didn't Start the Fire]
I don't understand why you'd say this. The US 100% did start all these fires. Not only did they start them, they keep adding wood to the fire. It's so blatant even a blind person could see.
Billy Joel has great song and I appreciate him as an artist, but I'll he damned if he isn't an imperialist justifier.
Same thing on Google results. I don't use Google but I use what are basically frontends for Google and all it feeds you with every search is AI-generated slop.
Every Google search must be precedented by writing "Reddit", now.
That would be 1 in 4 users and that's just not accurate at all.
What you mean to say is 25% of Windows users still use windows 7.
Its still an alarming statistic, and no wonder bruteforce cyberattacks are still so effective today considering it hasn't received security updates in like 10 years.
I sincerely hope those people aren't connecting their devices to the internet like, at all.
I'm fairly sure at this point even using a Debian based distro is better than sticking to windows 7.
I understand, but my point is that MacOS is more than serviceable as a work-focused operating system. It is more than capable to replace Windows as long as you're willing to accept a different work flow.
If you're already on Linux then great, stay there. But the average consumer wants something easier to use, and MacOS is easy. More importantly, it doesn't treat you like garbage like Windows does.
Granted, I was a child when I played it, but it was fun.
Years later I found a few YouTubers shitting on it due to bugs, recycled assets, lack of digivolutions, shitty camera angles, spammy gameplay, etc etc.
I agree with all of these criticisms and in hindsight yea that game was really lazy. However, I still had a good time.
I think you'll find that, sadly, nobody is worse for HIG than software engineers, especially Linux aficionados.
They like their design as unpalatable and shit-lookalike as possible.
