I very specifically remember the controversy 15-20 years ago when it was found that many of these pouches had mold in them, and you couldn't see it because of the pouch or even taste it. I'm sure the quality control since then has improved, but any time I see a pouch of juice, I think about that mold incident.
I use a DS Edge exclusively for PC gaming, and I have for a while now. Through Steam, the back pedals, touch-pad buttons, PS button, and microphone button are all customizable to be any button input you want. I have them on a per-game profile basis, where some games like Elden Ring I map them to be a second O-button so it's less awkward to run, where others I have them bound to keyboard inputs or macros.
If you aren't ready to fully commit to installing it on a hard drive, you could probably make a live USB stick of Linux. There are installers built to run on windows that will install Linux onto a USB drive, which you can boot from after turning off your PC. That way, you don't need to worry about wiping or resetting an old computer just to see if you like it.
Unfortunately, most Windows users are not tech savy and will never move to Linux, regardless of how user-friendly Linux becomes. It would take large-scale retailers switching their computers to have Linux pre-installed instead of Windows before any meaningful transition happens.
Put your money where you spend your time. Don't spend money on something if you won't be using it.
You spend a lot of time sleeping, so get a nice, comfortable mattress.
Spend a lot of time on your feet at work? Get durable, comfortable shoes/boots, and maybe some nice insoles so you don't limp back to your car from pain.
Spend a lot of time playing a F2P video game? Go ahead and buy that DLC or cosmetic item to make it more fun, and support the devs to keep the game going.
The list can go on, but before any non-trivial purchase, I ask myself how much time I will spend using it.
That's only when a country follows these rules. Some countries don't care and will tortue POWs and then ask, "What are you gonna do about it?" Because nobody is able to hold them accountable.
Some bands I see sell cassette tapes and vinyl records at their shows. These tend to be heavy metal bands. There's a niche interest in physical media in music, and it's mostly for analog mediums.
Being a kid with ADHD, all of them. Each and every service drove me to the brink of insanity. I stopped going once I was old enough to decide for myself.
Leaving a carcass in the wild would attract scavengers and spread disease, which is prevented by inhumation. Cremation is also an option but requires a large amount of fuel. In early and prehistoric cultures, inhumation was the easy option.
Edit: to add to this, I read something on how the first "burials" were just piling rocks on top of the dead body, primarily to ward off scavengers. So, aside from honoring the dead, burial and cremation have a practical purpose as well.
At this point, I'd assume both. Also, people are wearing fur-suits to Renaissance fairs now.
