We've just put a small mod team together, we'll get some sidebar rules up shortly, currently we'll remove anything offensive or off topic and assess other types of posts on their own merit

Yeah still having hiccups, I'm sure its because the server is relatively new and not used to the traffic

Edit: Not to forget, we don’t have a mod to enforce any rules at the minute.

r/formula1 didn't want anything to do with Lemmy previously, which is fine, they're going their own way with discord. I think discord is fine for smaller chats but 1k+ people on a live race is just going to be chaos and hopefully the threaded comments here will be more conversational.

Restart delayed... Doesn't sound like this flag is clearing anytime soon.

I think at this early stage it would not be considered spam to post links, but part of building a community.
