That's not what he's saying though, he's saying no reverse grids, because he's got a front running car and is not as good on overtakes as another front running car. The current format scores Merc more points than a reverse grid would.
No but if they have reason to suspect a large number of cars aren't in compliance then they should check, and then decide what to do. Instead of "unlucky we checked you today".
Could be a couple of interesting races this weekend! Verstappen wins both is my prediction but the rest of the podium should be a real scrap between Merc/McLaren/Ferrari/Perez!
Also, and I might have misunderstood, but isn't he saying "an F1 car could drive upside down, but if I drive upside down we won't use an F1 car but something that looks a bit similar"
I was excited for the series but I cannot think of any more boring circuits to hold it on, except Monaco perhaps. Seems to have gone to 5 big money tracks and 2 of the worst in Europe. Saudi Arabia and Qatar, bastions of women's rights. Let's hope the low power cars at least make these raceable.
The BBC news article about the test said she was driving for Aston in academy, but the sky article about her more recently doesn't say drive but "playing a role" so could be crossed wires between journalists or waiting an official announcement
People not noticing that another mercedes mistake + one Fernando podium could put Lewis in 4th.
