  • Ultimately the problem with Biden wasn't his age (although that was a contributing factor); it was that he wasn't going to win.

Also, Harris is not as blonde as Hillary, and Hillary barely lost, so I like her chances.

  • They're going to have to fit a couple more impeachments into the next four months if they want Harris to be more impeached than Trump. That's presuming this current attempt goes anywhere, which hahahahaha!

  • You have diverted my attention away from what I was doing, and I have now seen your rock. I have no regrets.

  • If House Republicans are saying that you can't hold office if you're too fucked in the head then I have some bad news for House Republicans.

  • I share your sentiment, but I'm not even going to wish him good luck. Crash and burn motherfucker.

  • Out of this list Shapiro might be the strategic pick, but Walz is who I think I'd most like to see as VP.

  • It looks like there are a few meth gator movies out there, but nobody's done a moose yet. If I were any kind of ambitious I might get that copyrighted. Fair game if anyone wants to use it though; I'd watch it too.

  • Nice. And yeah, it's on Tubi. I think it can be properly reclassified as a documentary given this article here.

  • First off, I get pretty serious about Godzilla movies, so we'll leave that alone out of common decency.

Second, the movie you're describing is a franchise crossover between Cocaine Bear and Cocaine Shark. I heard they're bringing Meth Moose in for the follow up.

  • I assume Cocaine Shark is already a movie on Tubi, but if it isn't give it a couple weeks.

  • Not here, but I've seen a lot of people chiming in who seem torn up/devastated that Biden dropped out. If they're as convinced that we're all screwed now as I was convinced that we were screwed with Biden staying in I can understand their feelings. I just hope that I've assessed the situation better than they have. I, like you, found a bit of hope today.

  • Kelly should hold on to his Senate seat for as long as possible. There is zero guarantee that Arizona would send another Democrat to replace him.

  • Not just the primaries; it's going to take a tea party style insurgency into the DNC in order to exact the actual changes that we are looking for. The long play is getting involved in your state level Democratic party apparatus and pushing for better representation of progressive policies in the party platform, and pushing people of progressive persuasions into the DNC. <--- Much inadvertent alliteration.

  • I think that's possible, but I think it was all but guaranteed that anyone who didn't want the repubs to win would have been crying in November if Biden hadn't dropped out.

  • Realpolitik is a son of a bitch, innit?

  • Oh, to be a fly on that wall. I'm sure I'd love it.

  • I'd put forward a Whitmer/Booker ticket as possibly the most politically feasible pairing that I'd dislike the least. I'm much further to the left than the Democratic party would ever consider catering a POTUS nomination toward. I see this pair as having enough political clout, name recognition, and heading in as close a direction of where I'd like things to go as I could probably expect.

All that said, I'm expecting Harris at the top of the ticket. And that's fine if it keeps Trump out. I just hope it works.

  • I think it's neat that they updated his software to be able to interpret slang abstractions. Well on his way to being indistinguishable from an actual human.

  • This post is kind of like when somebody who doesn't know anything about cars starts throwing out words like carburator, transmission, and alternator because they know those are car things, but they have no idea how to use them in the context of how they are actually relevant.

It's hard to begin to know how to tackle correcting anything because the amount of effort it would take to unweave and reconstruct the kernels of truth is like trying to extract an egg out of a fully baked cake.

This is probably overly harsh considering the slant of the post is absolutely in the right spirit, the analysis is just completely broken.

  • I'm not sure there's much in the way of branching off from Eneferens. I thought you may have heard of them due to label affiliations. At any rate, glad you are receiving these positively. And yeah, trust that the Hexvessel album is worth some deeper dedicated listening. That's a special album imo; I don't know of anything else that's quite like it.
