  • No, you seeing it wrong.

The subscription is the ONLY way you can get that game, making the whole subscription a necessity if you only want to game that one game.

Like with YouTube, where you have to pay YouTube music as well, even if you have apple music payed by your daddy already

  • I get them using sonarr and usenet as well as an indexer that lists those releases in german.

Sometimes sonarr is smart enough and sometimes I have to grep em manually using prowlarr. But with smart filtering, it is done pretty fast.

For English releases, it works flawlessly.

The only thing missing are youtube series, but those can still be grabbed from YouTube directly (let’s see for how long still), hope more release groups would upload YouTube series to the usenet, hate it that YouTube has no series/episode sorting.

  • It is a signal to the orange guy, as removing fact checks. Meta(facebook) just wants to profit from corrupt government, just like the other big tech.

They say accident on public but show how they have power over their user base.

As the Hitler greeting of mr Musk is only a “accident” officially, but a clear sign to nazis that it is now OK to show themself. As the pardoning of about 1000 Nazis was from trump.

If you are in America and not a Nazi, I fear it is time to arm yourself…

This constitution needs a revision, and anti democracy laws that disturb the aberration of power (executive, legislative, judical and investigative reporting) like pardoning, fillebuster, etc.

Supreme court needs revork as well, it can not be, that a single person chooses who is on those seats and that they stay forever till death is very flawed.

  • Resubscribe? Is FFXI paid by subscription?! 🤯

But yea, that game seems a bit messy for my taste as how it programmed 🤭 not experienced coder here, but what you describe sounds like it is as windows: programmed like a patchwork rug.

  • I have one similar to that 😃 I have set up a dual boot with EndeavourOS to get security updates there

(Prepare partition in macOS by shrinking main and make a second FAT. You’ll change the file system to the correct one during installation of Linux. At reboot hold alt/option to choose which OS/USB-Stick to boot)

With the macOS, I want to try legacy patcher, but would have to kill my Linux in the process, so I did not try it yet..

  • 🙊sorry

I'd guess she was from Norway, they have a way bigger fibre network than us and since longer time. Here you don’t have fibre if you are too far from a bigger city, yet. But at least we get about 1Gbit from our copper.

  • I often make in a new chat with a prompt including assumptions based on the info from output of previous chat. Most of the time, it then makes a good job factchecking itself and for example tells many things not matching with what it told in previous chats. Then you know that it has not enough training data in that regard and failed to get relevant infos from it’s web search.

More than once above happened to me on copilot (from enterprise ms365) and then chatGPT limited free promts saved me 😂

  • I often use it as my Python Slave because I am lazy

Like i write in bad fast human Language what my Script needs to do and then iterate from there giving it errors/ bug reports back (and fix some stuff that am I not too lazy for myself)

Scrripts that I needed were in complexity like, API calls, serial communication or converting PO to CSV and back (pls don’t ask 😅 it is for Work and I can not tell more)

But I guess, that because my skill is not too high, I‘m sure, if I was more skilled, I might be faster just writing it directly as code 💁🏻

But for code that needs to be built (like C), I mostly use it to make it explain me what existing code does, if I am not 100% sure after a short read. Have tried some generated code there as well, but then I get nothing but build errors 😆 at least, it, most of the time, can tell what the build error is trying to say.

Ah, and currently, I use my free chatGPT to make it teach me how to make music using only open source tools 😄
