Lol, I actually posted it here by accident. I selected this community, selected "post", reloaded the side instantly because I wanted to post it in !memes@lemmy.world. The posting interface somehow cached my post title, image and text so I could select lemmy.world, but this post already was on its way to the lemmy servers.

They are an easy target since people don't come in contact with them to often. And if there's a "separate" community in your country, that community is a great target for all the blame arising from current problems in society (poverty etc.).

Can't talk for UK, but in Germany there's a service by the government for cases just like that. No army or stuff, just the Kampfmittelbeseitigungsdienst.
