It's just lemmy being slow to update changes. Basically all user interactions like posting,commenting,editing,voting, etc... will often take a couple minutes to be visible to everyone else.

Well, Konami is back into game development, but the Fox Engine remains on mothballs. MGS3 remake will be on UE5 :/

I love fanfics exploring what-ifs of a work, and myself wrote two or three of those, but assumers immediately associate them with the lemons.

If and when Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, or Steven Spielberg send their own cease and desist, then we can start making jet memes about them, too. Until then, they've got other shitty things we can bring up. Cruise is a cultist, Jim Carrey is/was an anti-vaxxer, and Spielberg... actually, I can't think of anything else for him, let the Spielberg jet memes commence I guess.

"Canadian indigenous genocide" is the third result down on the autocomplete list on google after typing in "Canadian Indig", and if you click that result you get a ton of sources including a bunch of news articles talking about the genocide using the word genocide, the website for the Canadian human rights museum which calls it a genocide, and even a scientific paper on the trauma effects caused by it.

Like, these things have hundreds of gigs of storage, more than any iPod ever did, and yet almost everyone has completely forgotten about having an mp3 collection? I have about 2500 songs saved on my phone with the same or better bitrate than you'd get on Spotify premium and it's like... 25gb? I could easily quadruple my collection and still not be hurting for storage space.

Eh, I don't get paid enough to care about peoples cars, I just want them in the corrals so it's easier to deal with them. I'll of course stop a cart from hitting a car if it was my fault it was about to happen, but if the wind pushes a loose cart that's between the car owners and god at that point. I drive a shitbox so I personally could not care less if a cart dings it.

I work retail, I occasionally have to push carts. The corral is good enough. Also frankly, even leaving the cart loose in the parking lot is better imo than the people who leave their carts inside the store right in front of the racks of carts, but don't actually rack it up(or even face it the right way to be racked up). As soon as even one person does it, everyone does it, and I have to waste fuck loads of time just clearing the entrances of loose carts.

As an occasional cart pusher, I'd absolutely agree when the weather is nice. Being able to chill for a second as I walk to get the straggling cart is nice. If it's raining or extremely cold/hot out tho, fuck anyone doing that; I wanna get as many carts in as I can as fast as I can.
