Things were objectionably better under one president. The entire system is built around making sure the working poor stay there, but I can be happy that folk will come out and see me, and hey maybe they won't get disappeared by the new SS. I refuse to let people tell me somehow the last 4 years were worse than the absolute garbage we have trudged through and are now just wading back into (that would be gaslighting by the way). Do I think somehow I would be able to afford a house and a car under Harris? Fuck no. Do I have to worry I might someday get disappeared now? It's definitely close to the docket.

Well... as a bartender I must somehow be wealthy cause I sure did better the last 4 over the previous. And somehow this year has been OK but is spiraling down fast... maybe it's just the gaslight? Or it might be people don't spend money they are afraid they'll lose cause of an economy that looks like it's about to collapse (again)

So... the economy got better during the last presidency, thanks to a tanked economy before it... and now it is tanking again unsurprisingly... but people hate being gasliit about democrats ruining economies? Harris' campaign had a boatload of issues, but claiming the economy was going to continue was a safe bet to anyone who could read... fox news wasn't telling them that so again, reading is important.

And yet... checks notes inflation has gotten worse? We saw the writing on the fuckin wall. This guy ruined one economy why not let him do it again! There is no reason anyone should have voted for chitler other than hate...

These are the same assholes who claim they want small government then cheer government curtailing rights when it's something they didn't like (women's rights, religious freedoms, sending people to prisons in foreign countries). Government spending is just a magic word they use for "things I don't know about or don't care for"

Noooo, it's not that they're guilty of anything... it's to protect from the deep state and the radical left commiefascist"insertbuzzword"s! I was venting... I work with people who complain that they were inconvenienced by protesters but also wont listen to why they were protesting... I feel tired and old.

This has been true for almost everything. IRS pursues small tax fraud cause its easy and those folk can't fight it, big money or businesses have the ability to drag out court battles so they never pursued em. Ice isn't going to mega farms, they're going to some tex mex place near you to grab a couple folk who may not be legally here (but still pay taxes and if they aren't here legally can't even use those tax paid services).

Oh I'm well aware of the spins they do to keep us against each other instead of them. Preaching to the choir myfriend. Now if you could tell me how to get my stupid family to learn it and to stop blindly listening to propaganda then we could get some things going!

Oh no, every fuckin person In line to vote with me just said they were voting for Clinton because they were told he couldn't win. Everyone agreed with him yet I couldn't convince the 20 people in line that if we all voted for him it could all work. The dnc did him wrong, the media coverage wasn't great (never is take that as it is), and people thought Clinton was a shoe-in. I dont disagree with your statement for teaching people how to run, but don't disregard how the dnc didn't want him there at all.

As an American I sadly agree. This is an overreach that shouldn't be ignored. And if it is OK now it's obviously not off the table sometime down the road... this isnt something g you just shove under the carpet.
