It’s enough for me and it’s up to everyone to decide for themselves wether or not they can separate the art from the artist.

With Tom Cruise, it’s ongoing. It’d be different if it were some thing he was involved with in the past that he had now distanced himself from for example.

He’s a big shot within Scientology. A cult which is linked to structural physical and mental abuse as well as blackmailing, stalking and suspicious disappearance of (former) members.

He’s not just a member though, he’s supposedly just below the current head honcho.

I used to do that years ago.

Back then the sport was in its infancy really: we co-opted sports gear from other sports for our own uses and used ‘primitive’ weapons. For example: we used kendo swords with added crossguard for sparring, wooden wasters for sword drills and lacrosse gloves for protection.

Nowadays there all sorts of specialized gear for training and sparring and it’s really cool.

I don’t train anymore but I still follow it ‘from the sidelines’ (ie through social media) and it’s really gone places in terms of professionalism.

An awesome podcast, listened to every single episode in their (big) backlog and I’m always happy to see the new episode pop into my feed.

Ze hebben wat mij betreft sowieso een sterk punt. In het artikel staat dat er een park voor in de plaats komt en dat is natuurlijk een keuze die gemaakt kan worden.

Het zou de gemeente sieren als ze er dan wel elders betaalbare huurwoningen voor terugbouwen. Daar wordt in het artikel dan weer niets over gezegd maar ik vermoed dat dit niet het geval is.

Via boekingswebsites zoeken en dan naar de website van het hotel gaan en kijken wat voordeliger is!
